We had an amazing stay here. I booked this place due to location and the previous reviews. We were delighted. The staff is amazingly friendly and efficient. The were decorated nicely and most importantly the bed was comfortable! We had a lunch and 2 breakfasts in the restaurant. The meals were not overpriced and were quite tasty. Without a doubt, we will stay here again if we are in DC.

I always try to stay in nice affordable hotels that sometimes lead to disappointment but this was a very nice hotel that was worth every penny. I really enjoyed my stay in this room, the room felt modern with no carpet (which I enjoyed), the headboard was leather (easy to wipe), and the bathroom had a modern shower head with a handheld shower which was great. It was my first time staying and it did not disappoint. Its a very historical building so if you love the charm of hidden features this is it. The wi dows also open which was amazing being so high up with a perfect view of the capitol. I cant wait to book again. The desk attendant Fiie was very sweet and polite. Check in was easy and a breeze. The expedia VIP bag was cute and mich appreciated after my long drive.

The deco was modern and fresh. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Bonus for being close to so many shopping/food options and easy access to the interstate! We would definitely book again for leisure or a weekend getaway!

Location was perfect for our trip to the Smithsonian since the metro was just a short walk away. Evenings back at the hotel were nice, lots of restaurant options for everyone as well as great shopping too. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, all fresh and delicious, and the kitchen staff was very cheerful and attentive.
