Nice hnice hotel with a pool in the shade, which is really needed for hot days. the staff is very nice and service oriented, it helps with everything you need. Recommended if you visit Siam Rep before your visit to Angkor Wat, here you will be well taken care of.otel with a nice pool with shad

Fabulous stay in Siem Reap

They hype is real -- the Golden Temple Retreat is an absolute gem in Siem Reap. The staff make every effort to learn your name and give you highly personalized attention, so that you feel attended to and cared for at all times throughout your stay. Our room was very nice, and the hotel itself and pool are lovely. The location is ideal as it is only a short walk to the Pub Street area and other restaurants/nightlife/market areas. Highly recommend!

the hotel was well located - 10 min walk to pub street but best of all, it was new but a traditional design with wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast was always good while their amok curry at dinner was delicious. Nice pool and good sized rooms. The hotel were good enough to pick up/ drop off at the new airport as well as arrange all our excursions. It really was a stress free holiday. All the staff were amazing (there is a gratuity box - please use it) but special shout outs to Sofia from front desk, Heng Sinnet the excursion guide and Noy our driver

Located in a comfortable walking distance to city center in a nice neighbourhood, the Golden Temple Retreat Hotel provides excellent service. We stayed 4 nights and were thrilled by the hospitality and helpfullness of staff. Sopheak Hong organised a wonderfull 2 days arrangement to visit Angkor Wat and other temples. Our guide Nat showed us not only the must have seen sights, but also some spots away from the crowd. He really is an experienced knowledgeable guide. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage. Thank you for the great experience.

I highly recommend this place! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They anticipate your needs and wishes and are always ready to make your stay even better. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ideal for a romantic stay. The restaurant offers a wide variety of foods and cooking classes! I loved visiting the Spa, they have nice range of treatments and the masseuses are awesome! The hotel is just 5 min walk from the night market and the old market. In that area yon’ll find lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. This place is a real gem. Do not miss it!

I have stayed at the golden temple retreat 3 times and each time it gets better and better. It is top notch. They go above and beyond. For my birthday the stff beautify decorated my room and then the entire staff came to my room to sing happy birthday to me. Very special to me as its also the day, 1 year ago, i had open heart surgery the day befour my 55th birthday. If you dont stay at the golden temple you woud be making a mistake. Rooms are beautiful, tub and showers are amazing.best hotel ever!

The hotel is lovely and a great base for Siam Reap. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center. Room and breakfast exceptional . Service was top notch, especially Nat at reception. They know your name. Problem is it was low season and there was too much staff so it was a bit hovering. They will also arrange ankor wat tours and the prices didn’t seem too overcharged - we did on own. The one concern is we had pickup from the airport. While the price at $30 is good, it was a 1960s American car and we felt it was unsafe.

My family are very happy to return after 8 years and found it to be the same great hotel we remembered. The staff are very helpful and kind about every aspect of the services they offer. The breakfast is excellent and everything is maintained with great care. The hot stone massage and aroma therapy massage are awesome too. Nos encantó alojarnos en Golden Temple Retreat, un hotel de 30 habitaciones aproximadamente, a 5-10 minutos andando de Old Market. Elegimos una habitación en primera planta con vistas a la piscina y era muy amplia y cómoda, sólo mejoraría las luces (especialmente las del baño). Nos cuidaron con muchos detalles y una amabilidad extraordinaria. Mención especial para Lisa, Van y Nat, maravillosas personas siempre dispuestas a ayudar y pendientes de hacerte sentir lo más cómodo posible. También tuvimos la suerte de probar el restaurante para comer a mediodía y fue perfecto, cocina muy buena y fresca. El desayuno también es muy completo. En el spa disfrutamos de un masaje de piernas y otro de cuerpo completo y ambos fueron extraordinarios. Muchas gracias a todos. Hotel muy recomendable

This resort was great in almost every way. The walk into town is not long but dodgy as sidewalks are often missing or blocked by something. Our only suggestion is to heat the pool. As the pool is located in a shady area, it was too cool for us to spend as much time in as we hoped.
