Lush oasis after a dusty day at the ruins

We were very happy to spend six nights here, away from the hustle and bustle, amid beautiful landscaping. It's a pleasure to come back from sightseeing in the dust, heat and humidity to the well designed 'pool/river' and relax on the patio of your own room. Although located at the edges of the city there is always a tuk-tuk available at a reasonable price. A special thanks to Chantrea at the front desk for her charming, efficient and personal touch.

Small Luxury Hotel

This place is fantastic! The service was great and friendly and the property is beautiful. It far enough and yet close enough to the loud party scene of pub street. I will definitely stay here again. It’s very close to the ruins... just a cheap tuk tuk ride away. Don’t forget to tip... $1USD goes a long way. Best resort I’ve stayed in this year!

Your Own Jungle Paradise

A most amazing setting in your own well groomed jungle. This Resorts has a slow river pool moving through the property, and the Suites boast semi private pools (one pool per four suites). The staff is the best trained and most professional in Cambodia. The property was purchased, designed and built by a French and Khmer family who manages and operates the property today, as they have done since 1994, along with all the trappings you’d imagine from fine European resorts, but in Siem Reap. Angkor Village was like our own private jungle retreat in Siem Reap, but with tremendous style and elegance. We loved it!!

Ein absolutes Paradies. Wir sind verwöhnt aber das Angkor Village hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Eingebettet in einen tropischen Garten liegt ein Juwel im Stil des kolonialen Indochinas. Nur der Pool ist ein wunderbares Zugeständnis an die Gegenwart: wie ein Fluss mit Kanus schlängelt er sich 250m lang durch das grüne Resort.

An ABSOLUTE Paradise Oasis. Dont go with the Big chains. This Boutique Hotel was Heaven on Earth. After a Hot Day touring Angkor Wat, the winding river pool was pure joy. Your greeted with a cool drink & a cool towel daily. Every meal was Gourmet and the staff was MOST polite kind & joyful. My ONLY disappointment, is that I only went to the Spa Once. My massage was delightful. I did not want to leave.

We just finished a 3-day/night stay at this wonderful resort. From the moment we were greeted at the airport upon arrival until the moment we were dropped off at the airport of Siem Reap, we felt we were treated like royalty. The staff were amazing. We were greeted with smiles all around the resort by staff who all speak excellent English. Every time we came back to the resort after a long day wandering around the temples of Angkor Wat, staff were waiting with wet towels and our key. The staff were also very helpful in arranging a two day tour and rental of bicycles on the third day. We had opted for the pool suite villa and were truly blown away. The enormous villa, including a beautifully decorated bedroom (with a television hidden in a trunk at the foot of the bed), a spacious living room with minibar, a beautiful bathroom with large round jacuzzi and rain shower from the skylight, was amazing. Best of all was the large terrace with direct access to a private circular pool. Whilst there are four villas around the private pool, none of the other villas were occupied during our stay, which gave us the entire pool to ourselves. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was of great quality. In addition to a wide range of Western food options (incl. an omelette station), the local food was very tasteful, in particular the freshly made noodle soup from the soup station. The location of the resort was perfect, just outside the town. We will definitely come back!

All the staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Our room was fabulous - our only slight complaint that the bed was too hard for us but that's a personal preference. All the facilities were amazing - the massages were great value for money. The way the pool is set out also feels like you have your own private area and we often felt like we were the only people there. I would agree with some other comments that the breakfast did get a bit samey but it's just a small thing and overall we had an excellent stay.
