"Right on the beautiful Bayou. Wonderful views and close to Caddo Lake. Beds were comfortable and the family enjoyed staying here. Enjoyed kayaking on the Bayou. Would be really fun to bring a boat or wave runner/jet ski next time. Had a WiFi connection issue that was quickly resolved. Fresh cookies for us to enjoy when we arrived. "Perfect little swamp getaway, had an amazingly relaxing time. Boat launch is more than deep enough even at low pool, just be very careful of stumps and sudden shallows on the way to the main channel. Incredible scenery along the way. The four kayaks at the house work great for this too. Absolutely loved this place highly recommend it and will hopefully be back soon."

"We were staying in a hotel in the Shreveport area and had problems with the noise level there. Luckily I found a last-minute opening and we moved to the Emerald Cove Cabin. The property is rustic and eclectic but offers modern comforts. Working during the day was great since the internet is solid enough for voip. The sounds of the surrounding wildlife from the screened porch in the evenings are amazing. Hope to stay again next time we visit!!"

"We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again! This time the boys are bigger and they are better fisherman and we're so excited to catch some pretty bass. Again, "Miss DeeDees hospitality was awesome. Great breakfast a casserole, cinnamon rolls and kolaches! The cabin is so nice, cozy and clean and the boys love the loft beds. We did not see the deer this time but Domino...
