"Clean, nice and great location "

"Everything is pretty good. It's near transportation (JR station and the central bus station). Hotel is connected to a shopping mall with variety of food choices (even the food court is well visiting - visited the food court more than the other restaurants). Room is clean and spacious for a couple. There's a laundry area with <10 washers and dryers..iirc - some machines are combined wash dry while some were separate wash/dry (probably 3 sets). There were many travellers using them even during the night (11pm ) when we were there and we had to queue for it. No doubt enjoyed my stay and would be better if there's a private onsen. "

"Great hotel near the Asahikawa Station and the Aeon Mall, which was convenient for the Asahikawa Snow Festival (or would have been if I hadn't booked the week before the festival :-) ). The hotel is also, extremely conveniently, in front of a bus stop that comes straight from the airport. Simply stay on the bus until the stop after the station and step into the hotel. For Japan, the size of the twin room is _massive!_ Plenty of room for luggage, clothes storage, and potentially cricket practice (please don't play cricket in your hotel room :-) ). The raised bathroom is, however, the standard 'small' size for a Japanese hotel room, but is perfectly servicable. There's plenty of food options nearby with the main shopping street only a block away (which leads off from the train station), and the Aeon Mall's food court and restaurants are a five minute walk away."

"We are a family of 8 Adults n 2 kids (4 n 6yo). The property is clean and well equipped with utensils and crokeries. We enjoyed cooking our meals there. We did not use the facilities in the adjacent shed such as sauna, BBQ pit. There r 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. Both toilets n single Bathroom are downstairs. So those needing to use the toilets at night have to climb the stairs, which can be a little steep for some. There were several email correspondences after booking which can be confusing. It is not clear whether these are from Expedia or the Agent (ie Breakout group) 1 email said check-in is done in person and asked for our intended check-in Timing ... which I interpreted that someone would be there and I shld be on time. But a subsequent reply said checkin instructions will be given as no one is onsite. As we were on the road, I missed the email containing the Pass Code to unlock the property. No one seemed to pick up the contact number provided with the booking either. Fortunately, when we arrived, one of the owners (very friendly) were tending to their fields and helped us to check. We were told to check our emails again for the Pass Code. The owners cannot unlock as the property is managed by the agent. Lastly, it would be good to provide a bigger kettle for boiling water. The water dispenser was used up by our 2nd day. Other than small logistical issue, everything turned out well and we enjoyed our stay."

"Breakfast with a good view of the city. Was supposed to park a short distance away from the hotel as the hotel parking was unable to accommodate the bigger ride I had which was a Toyota Noah. However managed to park outside the hotel after the staff saw that I have children. Parking is 1000jpy per day. "

"I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too."
