Very nice place

Great family reunion spot!

So much to do on the property itself and lots of room inside and outside for the 9 families that gathered. Such a relaxing and peaceful spot. No one wanted to leave and we’re already talking about coming back.

Amazing Venue!

Such a gorgeous place to stay at! The place had more than enough room to accommodate all of our guests, along with having many different amenities and activities to do on the property. Along with this, the owners were super nice and considerate to all of us!

The best for large reunions!

This was our 4th stay across 12 years, and it was wonderful as always. The location is so peaceful and serene, the buildings have incredible spaces - the kitchen and great room especially! The hosts Dave and Wendy are around if needed, but otherwise just allow our group to enjoy the property. I have nothing but good things to say, and look forward to many more years at Elk Ridge Ranch :)

Summer Reunion

Family Reunion

Easy access. Great location away from distractions with view of countryside. Buildings had everything needed for large family. We all had a great time. Close enough to enjoy several outings on day trips. Excellent assistance by host!

Something to do for the entire family, Enjoyed the firepit on the chilly nights The hayride was a hit with kiddos as Dave let each drive a bit. Smiles galore!! Definately will return.

Excellent Unique Property

Our group of 18 of all ages had a great long weekend. There were a lot of unique features that kept our stay interesting. The huge commercial kitchen was great, and having the space upstairs for all of us to eat together was a plus. The golf course, fishing in the pond, visiting the animals, the workout area in the silo, and more, kept everyone active which we really enjoyed. The huge covered firepit area was a hit also! The hosts were responsive and helpful - we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Reunion Place

As with previous reunions spots, we used this place as a central point as we explored other activities in the area. We could have stayed at this property the whole time because there was plenty of room to roam, things to do and places to just chat. Dining together is important to us and there was plenty of space to do just that. Kids had a marvelous time playing games indoors and outdoors and adults and older kids enjoyed talking in various areas of the property.

Awesome property and outstanding accommodations. Dave opens everything up to your group and makes sure you have everything you need. Plenty of beds and industrial kitchen. Awesome bar area upstairs along with outdoor covered hangout area. 10/10 highly recommend.

Great reunion location

Our family enjoyed our stay. The facilities are spacious and the owners great with responses to questions. The kitchen was well equipped. There were 34 of us using all their housing locations with beds to spare. The only alert to future renters would be to be aware the main congregating area and a lot of the bedrooms require going up a flight of stairs. We loved to large room we could gather in, the big fire pit and the spacious grounds.

Family Gathering

A getaway with our children and grandchildren. The main lodge offered a great area for meals and fellowship and there were enough bedrooms between lodge and Blanche House. The group enjoyed the golf, fishing, canoeing. We did the catered Pinsa meal by owner Dave along with the ax throwing and corn hole game. Everyone enjoyed it! 2023 Family Christmas

The bar room was large enough to hold our large family. They loved the bar and pool table. Our adult grandchildren also liked the workout room, nice variety of equipment. My son and son in laws like the golf course! The casino was a fun place to go for our 21 plus grandchildren. Great family get together!

Elk Ridge Ranch stay

My family and I gathered here to celebrate Christmas together. (about 25 people) We loved the space and there was room for everyone! It was nice that there were the two levels so adults could still talk while the kids were playing and watching movies. We couldn't have asked for a better place to meet up!! The property is beautiful, and the drive in is scenic. The owners were so gracious to answer our questions when we couldn't find something, and everything we needed was there! Would love to stay again when the weather is warmer!

Wedding Weekend

We recently celebrated our wedding at an elk ridge ranch, and it was nothing short of magical! The venue was breathtaking, surrounded by rolling hills and stunning landscapes. The spacious accommodations allowed our family and friends to stay comfortably, and the charming decor added a cozy, rustic vibe to our special day. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly from setup to cleanup. We appreciated their attention to detail and choosing to have Dave (owner) cater a BBQ meal for our reception was spectacular. Ax throwing and pulled pork/brisket is the best combo! Our guests raved about the outdoor ceremony space and the picturesque backdrop for photos. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable wedding venue, this ranch is the perfect choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—truly a five-star celebration!

Perfect Property for a Group

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate a 40th birthday! This property was perfect for our group of 14, offering everything we needed for an unforgettable weekend. The amenities were top-notch—spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The property grounds were stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for both relaxation and fun. What truly made this place special was how well it catered to a group like ours. Whether we were sharing belly laughs around the firepit, cooking up a feast together in their commercial grade kitchen, playing a little pool or a round of chip and putt (we didnt play the whole course) it was clear this property was designed with gatherings in mind. And what made it even better was that our dog could join in on the fun (pet friendly)! I highly recommend this gem to anyone planning a group getaway—you won’t regret it! We hope to be back for our next friends gathering!

Spectacular space for a family reunion

We rented this property (Big Barn Main Lodge and Blanche House) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary with a party and reunion weekend over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect!!! From the commercial kitchen to the large gathering space upstairs complete with a sound system and a pool table and deck with plenty of seating, we ate and enjoyed and celebrated all weekend. Communication with Wendy and Dave was superb. They were amazing hosts and responsive within minutes of my texts and ensured we received everything we needed. (And we were 20 family members staying overnight and about 40 for the party—lots of needs!). Their pride in the property and their absolute dedication to us having an excellent stay was spectacular…5 star. We will be coming back for future reunions, and I’m dreaming of hosting retreats here for my business. So much fun.

Best Destination Wedding Weekend

We live in Brooklyn and planned our wedding at Elk Ridge Ranch as a destination wedding. It exceeded our expectations by far! Mari and I can not over state our wonderful wedding weekend. Dave and Wendy were amazing hosts. They had staff on the ready to help prep any needs we needed. Wendy gave us many ideas on the best ways to set up the hall for our 80 guests. They both were filled with positivity and willing to try new ideas to make our wedding weekend extremely special. Any questions that we had were answered immediately. We opted to have a pizza party on Friday night for rehearsal dinner. The pizza party was fantastic. Dave provided elk meat, sausage, beef, fresh mozzarella, every vegetable you can think of. The wedding by the lake was exactly what we wanted. The barn hall provided a relaxed comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy. The kids played switch and pool in the corn silo while the adults had cocktails on the outside deck. Dave helped us find the perfect band and soundman. We danced to the band by the bonfire, roasted marshmallows, drank hot chocolate for the kids, bourbon for the adults all-night. Our guests stayed in town and our family stayed on the ranch. We can not recommend this beautiful space enough. Thanks Wendy and Dave!
