The Mayflower Park Hotel was a bit of a disappointment. We had thought it was going to be 'old-world historic elegance' as a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. Instead it was just an old hotel. There were two elevators, and one was out of order. For a completely full hotel, that is unacceptable. The non-working elevator had been out for weeks. The WiFi was sketchy and kept dropping so don't plan on doing any work in the hotel. We had to pay $55 a night to have our car parked and valet service. The reception staff were friendly. Overall it's a 3.5 star experience. It's best feature is the location if you want to walk places and be close to Pike's Place Market. We stayed three nights and the price was exorbitant.

I travel frequently for business and pleasure and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon arrival, I requested the packages that had been shipped to the hotel (confirmation of receipt with the shipping company, confirmed ahead of time that the hotel would hold them). The employee looked once, told me they weren’t there, and asked if I wanted to go look myself. His colleague then kindly proceeded to find them after I insisted on the same. The following day we requested extra towels and for our room to be cleaned. I was very condescendingly informed that no, I could wash the TWO towels in the room provided (for reference we had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 towels total) and room service is strictly for stays of 8 days or more; no exceptions. The cherry on top was the fire alarm and building evacuation on our second night which was dangerously quiet. They obviously couldn’t control the alarm or need for evacuation, what was scary was how quiet the alarm was and we only heard it because I couldn’t fall asleep.
From rude, unhelpful staff, to dangerous safety practices, 0/10 recommend.
