"Staff don’t speak English bathroom only on the first floor we were staying at the 4th and no dinner and no breakfast available. Good for a step only one night before Kyoto. "

"The rooms were tiny. My wife and I had to coordinate to open our suitcases. There was basically just a bed and a tiny amount of space around it. It certainly didn’t feel like 140 square feet.
On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very nice."

"Needed to stay here because of work. Even with the air-conditioning set to 19 for the entire night, the lowest the room temperature got was 27. It was difficult to sleep and the hotel staff were quite rude. I don't recommend going here unless you absolutely have to"

"Very nice hotel and very close to pretty much everything. Shopping, food, shrines and temples. Staff were very nice, helpful and accommodating. The area around the hotel is nice and quiet too. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Room was spotless. Very spacious. Value for money is amazing. All staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great being close enough to all the fun but also a bit further away from the crowds and noise. Highly recommend this hotel. "
"This was my second time staying here, I really enjoyed it. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful with any questions. This hotel does luggage delivery as well. The location is good, far from any noise but close enough to walk to the main area and nishiki market. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. For solo travelers its very spacious. Air conditioning works well. The bathrooms are pretty big as well. In the main lobby there is a water and ice machine."
"Our stay was absolutely phenomenal and truly elevated our entire trip to Kyoto. From its stunning design to its impeccable service, every aspect of this hotel exceeded our expectations.
The location is, without a doubt, a 10 out of 10. Situated directly on the banks of the beautiful Kamo River, the hotel offers a tranquil escape while being just steps away from the heart of the action. We loved starting our mornings with a coffee overlooking the river. In the evenings, we could simply walk out the door and be in the middle of the vibrant Pontocho Alley for dinner, or take a short stroll across the bridge to explore the historic Gion district. The convenience is simply unmatched.
The room was a perfect blend of modern luxury and Japanese elegance. It was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with incredible attention to detail.
Finally, the service was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.
If you are looking for a special place to stay in Kyoto that combines a prime location with a luxurious and peaceful atmosphere, this is the place to stay."
