  • Your Private Escape & Backyard Pizzeria
Welcome to Time to Chill Shenandoah, where small-town quiet meets big-mountain adventure. While we are a strategic launchpad for Shenandoah National Park and Massanutten Resort, we’ve designed the property so the best part of your trip happens right here in your own private, fenced-in sanctuary!

The Backyard Experience: Pizza & Privacy
The highlight of our home is the fully fenced backyard—a secure world of its own where the outside world fades away.

    • Artisan Pizza Oven: Take your dinner plans to the next level. We’ve featured a dedicated outdoor pizza oven so you can craft wood-fired, artisan pies under the Virginia sky. It’s more than a meal; it’s a memory-making experience for the whole group.

    • Pet-Friendly Seclusion: We know pets are family. Our secure perimeter allows your dogs to roam and play freely while you focus on the perfect crust or a cold drink.

    • The Relaxation Deck: Step out from the house onto our expansive deck the ultimate spot for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, or alfresco dining while the pizza oven preheats on the patio.

    The Strategic Launchpad
Stay away from the resort crowds while remaining minutes from the action:

    • National Park & Skyline Drive: 20 minutes easy access to world-class hiking and breathtaking overlooks.

    • Massanutten Resort: A short 15 mins drive for skiing, the waterpark, mountain biking, and golf.

    • Shenandoah River: 1 mile away, perfectly positioned for days spent kayaking, tubing, or fishing.

    Inside the Home
The interior is bright, airy, and curated for "chilling."
    • Restorative Sleep: Comfortable bedrooms designed to recharge you after a day on the trails or the slopes.

    • Full Kitchen: Equipped with everything you need for the mornings before you head out or the nights you aren't firing up the oven.

    • Chillaxing Vibe: Clean, modern, and uncluttered, providing a calm atmosphere to balance your outdoor adventures.

    The Vibe
Time to Chill is about the luxury of privacy. It’s a low-key, quiet retreat where you have the space to breathe, the security for your pets, and the unique experience of a backyard pizzeria.
Book your stay and discover why the best nights are spent in the backyard.

We enjoyed our stay in Shenandoah. The rental is located between two Shenandoah National Park entrance gates making it ideal to explore the park and easily get to hikes. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Our kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub.

We had a great family weekend here. The house is lovely and cozy and equipped with everything you need. Game room was full of things to do. Pizza oven was great! The owner leaves nice thoughtful touches like a stocked coffee bar and a basket of s’mores items and popcorn. Communication was great and any questions were quickly answered. Highly recommend!

The house was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed all the games and cozy living room space to relax! The pizza oven was phenomenal paired with the pizza dough recipes in the pizza cookbook which was such a fun experience! The house is located in a great neighborhood and is a short walk to the train yard where we had so much fun watching the trains and viewing the sunset! It is also a short drive from Massunutten where there is lots to do! The host is super friendly and responds very timely! We will 100% be coming back to visit!

This house was spacious and perfect for indoor and outdoor relaxation. The game room was very well set up and stocked and we spent most of our time inside together here! The hot tub is well maintained and the cleanest we've seen in a rental! The coffee bar and kitchen were very well supplied and made it easy to prepare meals. The natural light from all the windows was wonderful and the curtains provided privacy in evenings. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, although the beds are on the soft side but plenty of pillows, blankets and throws. We did not travel with pets but this house had all the details thought out and provided for them too! Communication with our host, Veronica was quick and appreciated and we would book and recommend to any in the area in the future!

Family Vacation

The house was great, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The location is wonderful. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The house has alot of sitting options and it has a fairly big backyard. We will definitely book if we are staying in the area.

Perfect location & great fenced backyard

The home was immaculate, comfortable and felt like home right away. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and the hot tub was so relaxing. The home was close to the Shenandoah National Park and about 30 minutes from Bear mountain adventures where you can take the whole family zip lining. I’m 58 and had a blast there! We def recommend this home as the neighborhood is so quiet.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The location is great. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and centrally location in the Shenandoah Valley. The house is charming on the outside and modern on the inside. There is a great family room. The back yard space is amazing. Hot tub, seating, dining, fire pit and some room for yard games. We don’t travel a lot with our dog, but Daisy joined us this time. The fenced back yard was the main reason. And as others have mentioned the host is great and very responsive.

Weekend getaway

Everything was amazing. The only regret we had was that we didnt have enough time to do everything we wanted, including all the house amenitites! Next time we will book for a week and bring family. We were able to take advantage of the hot tub and spent all our time in the house not sleeping in the gameroom!

This was such a lovely property! Super cute house, very clean. I typically don't look under beds at VRBOs because I've been scared of what I've found, but had to after I dropped something and under the beds are clean too! No dust bunnies and no hidden candy wrappers. Showers are nice, so are the beds. So many nice touches, made this house such a nice family vacation and a super cozy stay. It was rainy the first day, but we had plenty to do with the pool table and a lot of board games. There was even a dog bed for our pup and dog toys which our pup also appreciated. The smores basket was priceless. I have teens, that often don't want to hang out with us anymore. Our boy noticed the smores and requested to make them, leading to hours of hanging out around the fire pit talking about life and looking at stars. I can't even tell you how priceless this was. If we had brought stuff to make smores, the teens would have thought it a dumb idea , but because the host provided them, it was amazing. My husband rated this top 5 VRBOs we have ever stayed in and he is picky. We had such a lovely time. 10/10 recommend without hesitation. It is such a great stay. Thank you so much!

Close enough to Shenandoah NP

We went up to visit the NP. We loved the house because there was lots to keep my teens entertained. The house was clean, the town was sleepy. It made for a quiet and nice visit. Communication with the host was easy. She was very organized and thorough.
