Small Charming Cottage set in a beautiful wooded setting. The big slider off the living room gives views of woods and nature. People who have stayed here have seen deer, raccoons, fox, woodpeckers, and listen to the sounds of whippoorwills in the evening. There is a small patio out back, with outdoor seating and grill, with a fire pit near by. It is Private and romantic yet still close to Silver Lake, Stoney Lake and Lake Michigan. Equipped with full kitchen, bath, and laundry.

Perfect Cozy Cabin near Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Place was perfect, definitely set up as a couples cabin, as in for two people. Hosts were very hospitable and friendly. If you're looking for a nice getaway with your s.o. near Silver Lake, highly recommend here!

perfect hide-away

We loved our 4 nights at this cottage. It's tucked back in the woods, so you feel very secluded, but all of the area's best attractions are very easy to access. It was one of the most well-appointed rentals that I have stayed in and owners were easy to contact and quick to reply.

Great place

This was a perfect place for a getaway. It is a lovely home, clean, cozy, nice unexpected amenities like snacks and a peaceful wooded setting. It is also close to many attractions, notably just minutes from Lake Michigan. We also liked the personal touch for check-in.

Woodland Oasis

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is thoughtfully appointed. Ron was very kind to meet us and open the cottage and give us some details about the firepit, AC and such. Highly recommended getawy!

I was skeptical about this property having a perfect 10 rating and all the reviews about how clean it was...they deserve at least an 11! This place was super clean and the host really takes the extra steps to make guests feel welcome! Highly recommend this place! Centally located so you're only 10-30 minutes away from most beaches trails and restaurants.

Tucked into Nature

The property and house are surrounded by trees so very private and relaxing. The little house is tight and beautifully finished with the owners thinking of guests as the top priority. The inside was clean and well appointed and the backyard was great for star gazing by the fire pit. I would definitely return for more.

Steering Group Retreat

Our group, the White Lake Area Climate Action Council enjoyed your space for our steering committee retreat. It was perfect for four people. We enjoyed the intimacy of the space and the wooded setting. We even ventured for a walk in the 15 degree temps. Lovely spot. Thank-you!

The coziest charming cabin…stay here!

The cabin is so cozy and I love how the backward was woods. The bed was comfy and my spouse is in a wheelchair and he was able to get around the cabin easily. There is the Fox Barn winery, Farmhouse Restaurant, Stoney Lake Inn restaurant, silver lake sand dunes, and the best breakfast sandwiches at the dune store! Our stay was perfect…I can’t wait to stay here again. The perfect couples cabin. The hosts really pay attention to detail! It was perfect!

Super clean house

This home was nicely located in a remote, woodsy area. It was clean and modern and only six miles from the Hart-Montague bike trail we rode on two days. I would recommend.

Wonderful cottage in the woods

My husband and I have stayed in rental properties all over the United States and Northern Italy over the past 25 years so we have high expectations about where we choose to stay. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely book again. This secluded cottage is in a quiet location with all the necessities for a comfortable getaway. Close to Lake Michigan beaches and all area attractions. Great star gazing on clear nights, too! Hosts are kind and accommodating. We highly recommend this property!

Bike trip

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely clean and functional. The weather did not cooperate during our 4 night stay; it was either cold, rainy, windy or all three combined. However, we were able to get in 2 bike rides on the nearby Hart-Montague trail and explore the nearby towns. And because the cottage was so pleasant, we also were able to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of the property during the less than desirable weather.

Wonderful stay

The property was clean and beautiful. The loacation was great, close to activities but in the woods. My husband loved the snacks the host left us. It was a thoughtful touch. This rental had everything you needed for the weekend. I loved the recommendations by the host for places to eat and see. We went to the dairy and it has the largest donuts I have ever seen! I definitely will stay here again when I am in the area.
