"This hotel was spotless! The cleaning crew was amazing. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, and very solid. Ample parking. The staff was exceptional. They coordinated taxi service for me, which was such a load off my mind. They also mitigated my own mistake in booking: I had missed a night that I needed when I originally entered my dates (my fault), so I made myself a second booking, thinking I'd just switch rooms and keep my stuff in my car during the affected day. But when I checked out from room 1, they were able to get me into room 2 right away, which I think is probably another point for the cleaning staff. Anyway, it was a nice surprise, since I was the one who had made a mistake in my booking. Very grateful to everyone!"

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is gorgeous! Our room was very clean and comfortable and the food and spa experience were wonderful! Tea at the Empress was a highlight! The staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend!"

"Took 3 times before they gave me the correct key to my room. First time wrong key, second time wrong room as it had yet to be cleaned. 3rd time they got it Right. They overcharged my credit card so trying to get that sorted out. "

"Brentwood Bay Resort is a beautiful property in a great location right on the marina, and only about 15 minutes from the Victoria airport. Even though we only stayed one night, it made a strong impression. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and it’s a bonus that all rooms face the bay. The views are lovely and really add to the experience. The property itself is well maintained, with great amenities including a spa, heated pool, saunas, and a hot tub. There are also two restaurants on-site, which makes things convenient, and it’s nice to see they offer pet-friendly options as well. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing stay with scenic views and solid amenities."

"Parking was underground and was fine. We were disappointed with the air exchange/heater unit. It was very noisy and cycled often, resulting in a poor sleep."
