「Second time staying, a beautiful place tucked away just outside Norwich. Staff very friendly, my room in the cottage was lovely. Breakfast was ok, with a small choice but was adequate. You can go for a walk near the hotel but it is a very busy road with no pavements so take care.」

「The hotel was lovely. Super decor, maintaining a sense of old country inn but with a fresh modern touch. Evening diner was surprisingly good and at a good price. Service was delightful. Room very confortable and quiet Very happy stay. 」

The Black Boys Hotel is a good place to stay right in the Market Square with many shops,’church at very close distance If you struggle with mobility. They have an extensive menu with very generous portions. It is also a stone throw from Blicklimg Hall, Wroxham. Holt and other places to visit near by.」

「Lovely big spacious room, huge bed with crisp clean bedding, nice big shower with massive fluffy towels, spotlessly clean throughout. I didn’t have breakfast as I’d left before it being served. Lovely helpful staff.」

「Superb accommodation and excellent food」

「Excellent comfy room with a few minor drawbacks, it was over the main restaurant area so was noisy early on, the water pressure on both hot and cold was poor but the shower was excellent and no toilet roll holder. The staff in general were very good and Jenny was excellent. The food in the restaurant was pricey but if superb quality, especially the home made pie.The draught beer was excellent and the wines very drinkable. The room cleaner left a bit to be desired, not a thorough job by any...

「A beautiful period property in a stunning location. Always a warm welcome from the owner and you couldn’t find a more beautiful setting to wake up.Deer often walking around the grounds in the early morning when you open the curtains of your perfectly decorated room.」

「 Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham.」
