"We have stayed in several cabins before. Some we would like to return to, others not so much. This is one we will return to. The location was great. Easy access to the river. Hot tub worked great. If you are wanting to visit Mt Mitchell, don’t go purely on the fact that technically you are 8 miles away. As that might be true if you were to walk straight there, but if you are driving, it takes about 1.5 hours. Beautiful drive. Just not as close as we had thought we would be. We came on what was probably the hottest weekend of the year and it was quite comfy the whole time. The cabin doesn’t have central A/C but the window unit and mini split did the job just fine. The cool mountain air was refreshing the entire time! Highly recommend this rental. Honestly, wish it was for sale!"

"This property was wonderful! My husband and I loved the views, porch, wildlife, location, and set up of the house. The space was clean and check in/out was easy! It was perfect for us! We even locked ourselves out of the house and help arrived within 20 minutes to let us back in! We look forward to staying here again! "

"Although the road to get to the house was even more challenging than expected for mountain community, the house and long range view was worth it. The house was very well equipped in every room for furniture, entertainment or meal prep. Kitchen was especially well equipped and the nice welcome basket was much appreciated and useful. Jaime, host concierge, was very helpful and timely with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Would recommend for others to stay at this location. "

"Close to Burnsville, but far enough away to allow for a wonderful relaxing weekend. The home sits on the hillside above a beautiful river and there’s hiking on the property. The check-in process was seamless and all of our questions prior to arrival were answered promptly. This is a fantastic property and we hope to return again."
