"This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. The properties are located in a fairly quiet, leafy area, and it's only a 12-minute walk to the Guangming Road metro station, from where you can get to the centre of Shanghai in just over an hour....

"Personal at the hotel does not talk English so it's difficult to communicate. The air conditioner of the room didnt cool the room enough, it didnt go below the 21°C so on hot days it's not conveniente. Other than that room is clean and nicely located, my stay was pretty good. "

"Nice property located in Minhang Hongqiao area. Hotel is well appointed and staff were all helpful. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. There are nice food options right next to and a block away."

"Thermostats didn’t work. Room temperature reached to 28C. Front desk suggest to provide a fan - I was shocked to hear that. Upon refusing the fan option, changed my room. New room - window wouldn’t close so you can count how many cars passed by. In the morning AC automatically changed to heater and I woke up due to hot room. Old and hard to operate thermostat. Room size although they call it king size bad room was terrible. No sitting spot to sit and put your shoes on. Breakfast is below...

"There are 3 untrue information on the hotel description including map location, nearby, and getting around. When I found out the hotel is not located at Xuhui and cannot get there by metro, I asked to cancel and refund, but cannot get refund. It is luck for us to find out the errors early and get into trouble at night with luggage. "
