Mosque of Shaikpetsarai in Hyderabad
Built in 1550-80 by Ibrahim Qutubshah as part of caravanserai near Golconda fort and Qutubshahi necropolis. Tradesmen were waiting there with their goods for clearance before entering the walled city of Golconda. It is a fine example of Hyderabadi architecture mixing the Persian influence (arches, geometry) with Indian love for detail and decoration (stucco use, minarets). Recently in renovation using the traditional way of building. Not in the usual tourist tracks, but worth a visit (Maruti colony, Shaikpet village, north of Qutubshahi tombs).

"Superb stay.. the location, property, rooms, restaurants, facilities are par excellent. The hotel offers one of the best breakfast. The team managing the breakfast is one of the best teams ever seen in 38 years of travel. I must mention names of Chef Sanjeev, Chef Rajesh Singh and Chef Surya Kant for managing their teams on live counter and service team for giving great experience. The front desk led by Subashish was excellent. The overall stay and experience is absolutely great 👍 "
