Great Family Trip

This trip was the perfect way to unplug and connect with my teenage kids. We loved the family game nights and star gazing from the hot tub. The views from the Preserve were incredible. The cabin was everything we needed. Great trip!

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay in the Smokies

My wife and I made our first trip to the area and had an amazing time. Cabin was just as advertised and the owners were awesome with communication. Cabin was clean and well supplied. This would be great for a small family with lots of games for the family to play.

Beautiful views!

My family and I spent 2 days in the smoky mountains at this lovely house and had a wonderful time! Gorgeous views! We loved the game room and hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend for any family staying in the area. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and other neighboring towns.

We had a great stay. We loved the view of the mountains. Unfortunately, we had to leave our vacation early. Because of that, we left some shirts in a closet. We contacted the owners and they immediately helped us and shipped our shirts. Thanks so much!

Great view and location

Loved this property. Very quiet and outside of the touristy madness of Gatlinburg, but still close to great hiking trails. Absolutely stunning view from the property and very comfortable. Host was very communicative before during and after. Even offered personal recommendations. I would stay here again and for a whole week.

Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful stay in the Smokey Mountains. Communication with the owners, as far as check in and out, any questions, etc was responded to quickly. Owners even sent us info on must sees (which was great since it was our first time visiting). Great vacation destination. We can’t wait to go back.

Cozy mountain retreat

Dealing with the owners was a pleasure, with clear instructions and prompt responses. Went here for my son's birthday, and made memories that will last a lifetime. The views were fantastic. Everything was a 10/10. I will definitely be booking here again for my next trip to the smokies.

Views can’t be beat!

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 16) had a wonderful time at this cabin! It had everything you need to feel at home on vacation. My kids loved the game room and could have spent the entire vacation down there!The kitchen was fully stocked, making staying in for meals easy. The beds were comfortable - word of warning for the vertically challenged - the king bed is super tall! I’m 5’3” and had to climb to get in (the top of the mattress was at my waist)!!!!There are wood rails you can use to climb up.We loved the hot tub!Overall, I highly recommend this cabin the hosts were super responsive when contacted. 10/10.

Fall hiking week

Great place to stay in the preserve area of wears valley. Perfect for those who want to hang out with an unbeatable view or want easy access to Smoky Mountain National Park. We love staying in this area and packing picnic lunches to eat before hiking. Fun house for the kids with air hockey and foosball. The hosts were very responsive.

A Wonderfull Weekend

We had a great weekend. The cabin was clean and everything was in great working order. I can’t think of anything I would change about it. The view is incredible. The check in process was very smooth. We highly recommend staying at “Forget Me Knot”.

Smoky Mountain Perfection

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was actually larger than we expected. And super clean and organized. We thoroughly enjoyed the porch for the hot tub and just enjoying mornings out there. Waking up to the view out the windows from the loft was delightful. And I really appreciated the tips and suggestions of things to do.

My family and I had an excellent stay at “forget me knot”. Morning and evening views from the living room are amazing. Cabin is nicely stocked with everything we needed and more! Location was perfect for us as it was outside the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but close to the GSMNP entrance and bypasses. Great place to relax and unwind. 10/10 will be returning.

That View!

We have stayed at many cabins in the Smokies and this one has become one of our favorites! The view is amazing, cabin was very clean, kitchen was well stocked especially with pots & pans of all sizes, a crockpot & griddle. The smoker was a plus too! Owners were very receptive. We hope to be back soon!

Family vacation

Overall we had a great time. The cabin was nice. We're a family of 6 and everyone had a bed to sleep in comfortably. One minor thing that turned into a little challenge was the bathroom's are in the bedrooms. For future guests hoping to see fireworks from the resort on the 4th, you can't see them. Great proximity to the National Park and attractions for kids. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

Outstanding, we loved our stay.

This cabin was perfect for our stay, my wife and I took our 16yo niece on a spring break trip. It is immaculately clean, which we are quite picky about, we felt just as comfortable as if we were relaxing and sleeping at our own home The views are awesome from all areas of the cabin. The hosts were great, they have this home set up with everything you need from kitchen to games to communication and ideas for itineraries. It is located in a resort neighborhood, super quiet area and we always felt like we had our privacy. There is an outdoor pool area that was not yet open for the season but looked like it would be very nice. It is close enough to the attractions but far enough away that we felt like we could chill when we weren’t hanging out at the tourist hot spots. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owners for making their vacation home available to us. On a side note there is a food truck park on Wears Valley Rd about 10 minutes away that we ran into, I’m gonna miss the tacos from Taqueria Macho Taco, they were delicious , highly recommend.
