Southern Comfort is a Tiny Home! It may be only 400 sq. ft. but it packs all the amenities that you need for your stay in the Smoky Mountains. This Tiny Home has a small fire ring outside with a park grill and a picnic table so you can enjoy the outdoors. You can also relax on the deck and listen to the frogs in the nearby creek. You have a great view of Cove Mountain. This Tiny Home offers 1 queen bed (in the bedroom), a set of bunk beds and 2 single beds in the Loft (the loft only has a 3 foot head way so It's perfect for small children to have their own space!). The kitchen is fully stocked if you choose to eat in. The bathroom offers a standup shower. There's even is a washer and dryer and dishwasher for your convenience.

Too bad the cons outweighed the stay

I want to start on a positive note to not make the entire review negative. The southern comfort is such a cute tiny home! It has a great location and proximity to attractions is great. My family of 6 are considering living tiny and booked for a week thinking it was a great way to test out the environment for us. The way the house is set up easily sleeps 6. The bathroom was a very nice size. The kitchen had full size stove and refrigerator. All very wonderful things. Unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by the fact we could never get comfortable and relax the whole stay. Upon check in it was obvious housekeeping was not being done well. Cobwebs in all the corners, large dried sticky puddle under the sink, food on silverware in drawer and mold inside the dishwasher. Small things, tried to overlook them. Then we started seeing roaches. It began with a few small ones and by waking on the 2nd day it was obvious there was a full infestation. We reported this to the office. Was told to take a picture and email it, someone would reach out Monday (this was Thursday). No offer to even come spray. We were not able to cook or store food, we found a roach in the coffee pot and microwave. One crawled across my chest while sitting on the couch. I received an email on checkout Monday morning apologizing and I was given a 67 discount. None of which was close to sufficient or considerate. I would not advise anyone stay here. They will also tell you to go to the dollar store for TP FYI

Amazing tiny house!!

We absolutely loved our stay in this tiny home...it was beautiful and clean and perfect for what we needed...we but definitely stay in this resort again!!

Check in/out was easy

Overall the place was good but there are only towels and washcloths for the bathroom. There was half a roll of toilet paper and paper towels, but that was it. Not even a bar of soap. The dishwasher was broken and instead there was a portable dishwasher taking up all the counter space. The largest plates didn't even fit in there either just fyi. The air/heaters were VERY loud. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable and made our necks kill. I never really write poor reviews, but we were a little miffed.

Family Vacation

Very cute property in a convenient area close enough to the big towns. This place was perfect for my boyfriend, our teenager and I. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Will definitely be back in the future.

Family Base

Our family of 5 (kids 7, 5, and 3) was very comfortable in this tiny home. It was a great home base for our vacation, enjoying both the National Park and tourist activities in Pigeon Forge. If you like a slower pace and less glitzy tourist traps, be sure to check out the shops and restaurants in Wears Valley & nearby Townsend. One note - if you have small children, you may consider bringing outlet safety covers. My kids typically leave electrical outlets alone, but there was one in the bunk where my 3 yo slept, and one right next to the head of a loft bed, and I was a little nervous that they'd get curious and electrocuted. We covered them with some medical tape we had on hand and removed before our departure. All told, it was a great value and a comfortable stay that sure beat hotel rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the covered porch as well!

Lovely Tiny House

This is a lovely tiny house with all the amenities of a regular home. LOVED the front porch and the view. The interior was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well appointed. Check-in and check out could not have been any easier. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

I loved the Tiny House. This would be my retirement home if they would do long-time rental! The area is very quiet and peaceful. If you want excitement around you, then one direction takes you to Sevierville, one way to Pidgeon Forge, or Gatlinburg...then back to your Tiny House for peaceful rest and privacy. A great way to social distance away from crowds, unless crowds is where you want to be. I know I will be back! B Nipper of Cleveland, TN

Quiet & Relaxing

Perfect getaway for our family. Loft area was a perfect area for my kids. Far enough away from busy part of town to get peace and quiet but close enough to be in the center of it all within 10-15 minutes.

Clean and Cozy

This tiny house was so stinking cute! It had everything we needed and was super clean. It is in a good safe area with beautiful views of the mountains on either side. Would be especially nice in the fall. We thought of inviting our kids since it sleeps 6 but glad we didn’t since we stayed inside most of our vacation. The living room seats two comfortably so the home would be good with a family if you’re spending the majority of your time outside sightseeing or sitting around the campfire. The only surprise for us was that it was in a camper park with campers super close. It really didn’t bother us though, just not what I expected bc of the pictures. Overall a nice tiny home and I would stay again.
