The cabin was beautiful and the views were stunning from the hot tub. Plenty of towels and clean! The only thing I would add would have been more blankets and some more info on amenities, like whether a dvd player was available or could be hooked up. Absolutely great overall and would love to stay here again!

Stayed at a cabin in wears valley. It was wonderful. Beautiful view, nice and clean. Easy to get to. Quiet side of mountains. We are 82 years old and enjoyed the more relaxed area. Would recommend for anyone. Used Volunteer cabin rentals and would recommend them. Our cabin was called Sitting Rock. Went thru Vernon to find.

It was a nice break from the everyday chaos. It is in the middle of nowhere. Was a little nervous driving up the hills that I didn't know it had to get there. Everything was great while we were there. It was great for the kids to have their own space and be loud and run around. It was within a 20 minute drive to almost everything. We enjoyed the hot tub. The upstairs could be a little more comfortable. It was clean except for the spiderwebs in some places. Over all it was a great experience and we would stay there again.

Cute and Secluded

I'm always looking for somewhere cute but secluded when I visit the Smokies and this place delivered. I know some renters have had the chance to see bears in the past here and I was hoping I would get to as well, but I wasn't lucky this time. The check-in ladies were lovely, the water was hot and the wifi was serviceable despite being high in the mountains. We will definitely rent again in the future.

The cabin was perfect. We even got to see a bear walk by while we were on the deck.

Loft Cabin

Nice & clean cabin with loft which had a very noisy bed because the box springs were broken. It was reported so hopefully it will be fixed for the next guest. Beautiful view and very remote on single lane road. No WiFi but LTE was ok. Overall it was a nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

Sitting Rock Review

The check in process and staff were very friendly and easy to contact. The property itself was a little dirty, cobwebs and dusty and the hot tub had a very odd smell. It also looked outdated. Generally it met our needs but nothing special. There should be a note on this property to have a 4-wheel drive, it's up a mountain road. We had a small sedan, if it had rained or snowed, we would have been in a bad spot.

Nice property, beautiful scenery, not the cleanest

Nice property, beautiful scenery from balcony. Beds are worn out, upstairs bed even making spring popping noice when turning over or sitting on bed. When we arrived large bag of dirty linens left just inside front door from the cleaning person. Called management and picked up right away. No toilet paper except what was left on the rolls. Had to go buy some from Dollar General store close by. Cob webs , and sticky substance on one night stand upstairs bedroom. Thought it was strange barely any dishes but discovered on last day they were all in the dishwasher from the last guests that stayed. Overall nice stay ! But we probably would do hotel next time .. especially for the money spent.

Great Smokey Mountain memories made!

We loved the secluded location. Our cabin was very cute and rustic but with all the modern necessities. We made some wonderful memories with great friends in a truly beautiful place.
