Nice Family Cabin

We enjoyed our stay here. There are some things that could be updated in the cabin, but overall it was very clean and cozy. The host was very helpful and wanted to ensure we had a great experience. Location is great as well- a secluded, mountain view, but only a couple miles from the main strip.

Family Weekend

Wonderful trip

We had an amazing stay at Happy Trails. The cabin is in a great resort in an awesome location. Four adults stayed comfortably and enjoyed cooking here for our stay.

Mountain getaway

Wonderful view. Peaceful. Had an awesome time in the hot tub. Grandson enjoyed the game room. Shopping and restaurants not far off at all. The cabin was extremely clean.

Great location

Wonderful location as we were in town for Cal Ripken baseball. The whole team stayed in this neighborhood and it was close to everything, but still felt isolated from the bustle of Pigeon Forge. Very responsive host, clean cabin, and the game room/loft kept the kids entertained.

Very nice well mantained property- had a minor issue upon arrival- owner had great prompt communication-with a maintence person there within minutes. Canin is not far from pigeon forge- but far enough out that it is away from the hussle and bussle in a very nice gated community. We will definately be back- hot tub was amazing- little arcade game was alot of fun- wrap around porch was great!

Beautiful Cabin, Needs Some TLC

Beautiful cabin in Bear Creek Crossing. Living room furniture being replaced on November 9. Really needed. Lovely neighborhood high up in the Smokies. Close to restaurants & shopping by the back roads. We are Senior citizens and the steps and terrain around the cabin were hard to navigate. Wireless internet was good. 4 people on it and no problems. It was the best temperature regulated cabin we have ever stayed in. Great fireplace. Large bedrooms with King beds. Bed linens need replacing. Baths and kitchen had nice towels and plenty of hot water. The cabin’s cleaning service needs to do a better job of cleaning general areas. Baths were clean and kitchen . Cobwebs around fireplace. Pool table and games in loft but we didn’t use the area.

Unfortunate to have to leave this review

Check in process was easy. Cleanliness was just ok. The living room tv was not working. The couch cushion was deflated so they put a pillow over it to sit on. I rented this cabin for the hot tub and tried to work it the first night and it wouldn’t. Emailed twice, called the numbers provided. Couldn’t get anyone to respond. I finally had to go through vrbo and the owner said he would send someone out and never did. Zero communication whatsoever. It’s sad the stay turned out this way.

Wasn't ready for guests

While we really loved the location, hot tub, and layout of the cabin, we unfortunately arrived to find 2 visibly broken couches. The sectional in the listing photos had the middle part busted and touching the floor with the metal bars exposed and the upstairs pullout was stuck partially open with the broken hinges sticking out. Thankfully our kids were older so we could keep them off those areas but I can't imagine having arrived with little ones. I told the manager and they just replied they were aware. There was also a screw that was sticking up from one of the kitchen chairs that cut my husband through his jeans when he sat down. The smoke detectors were not attached and the deck had 2 hoses left laying out across half the wrap around porch. Again, I'm so glad we didn't have little kids. Managers were informed about all of this with no more of a response than thanks for letting me know. It truly looked like they weren't expecting guests even though I booked months in advance and had recently asked about parking.

Very upsetting to pay a cleaning fee and it not be clean upon arrival for our stay. Lots of broken items and bowel movement smeared on the floor. The hot tub smelled like mold and not a drop of chlorine in it. Cute cabin but it needs some TLC.

My family of 6 enjoyed our week here! The owners were very helpful. When one of my children messed with the thermostat and shocked the system. The owner was vigilant and had someone come out and remedy the situation even though it was late at night. Can't recommend this cabin enough. Will definitely be coming back

Oh, no worries

The property is nice. Had everything we needed. Definitely could have been cleaned better.Myself and my friends are in housekeeping as well. Other than that, our stay was exactly what we needed.

Had to ask for access code to enter cabin, air conditioner not working upon arrival! Called service man, waited for repairman. Would not consider high end as advertised! Dirty socks found from previous guests! Water hose for hit tub just left laying around the deck, no cover on the electrical box nearby. Not enough towels, closets contents are literally just thrown all over, vacuum left behind door, not even cord wound up- not considered high end at all! Location nice, would stay at different cabin in the future.

Very nice simple living

It was a very enjoyable stay for my family of 6. Had plenty of room for kids to spread out and each feel like they had there own space. It was very nice to have a whole house to go back to every day after a long day of activities! Thank you to the host for all the information and help while we were staying at there home.

Great property. The reviews are accurate - you are parked on a big hill and the air hockey table is gone. However there is a twin over full bunk and an arcade game that isn’t listed!! Close to all things!

We had to make calls to get code to get in the house. Rail is broken on steps. Tiny parking space. 3 spoons in kitchen. Bathroom entry’s are inside bedrooms.

Quick spring break

We brought the kids to Tn to go to Dollywood and rented this cabin. I do believe they could have skipped Dollywood and had just as much fun. View is very nice and several different ways to get into town so traffic doesn’t bother you as much. Only issue we had was the ac didn’t want run first night but they had it repaired the very next morning so we could keep right on having a good time. Very highly recommend and we will be back!!!
