Our group of eight, including 3 children under the age of 10, were looking for a nice social distancing vacation. My first impression was that the set up of the community is confusing and a little anxiety rousing while driving g the super steep and narrow streets trying to find the right house. Once there, the parking for our house was absolutely terrible, granted, this was partially due to other cars parked all along the road making it extremely difficult to get inside the tiny parking area reserved for our cars.
The house was decent and met our basic needs. The kitchen was a little small for our group of eight. Thankfully, we brought a card table and chairs so we were all able to sit down for meals together. The air hockey table in the game room didn’t work properly and the set up in the “theater” was not easy to figure out. In most houses we have used through VRBO, there are usually very helpful instructions throughout the house telling how to work different tv set ups, etc. It was not “user friendly”.
In the “master” suite, there was no closet, the shower curtain liner was missing and the mattress on the pull out sofa bed, where our 7 year old had to sleep, was dirty.
For the most part, though, the stay was enjoyable with lovely views.
