The space
Welcome to our cozy cabin retreat! We look forward to providing you with top notch accommodations, hospitability, and communication. We can't wait to share our family cabin with you!

Our cabin is the perfect place for a family and friend's getaway. With 3 levels, 2 large decks overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains and 3 kings/1 full/1 bunk bed and a queen pullout, there are numerous sleeping arrangements for up to 12.

Top Floor:
- Two private bedrooms, each equipped with a king bed to
comfortably sleep 4 guests and each with their own en suite bathroom
and Smart Roku TVs.

Main Floor:
- Another master bedroom with a king bed, perfect for 2 guests, a full
ensuite bathroom and Smart Roku TV with back deck access.
- Open concept kitchen, living, and dining room. Check out one of two
decks on this floor both overlooking the beautiful mountains from a
rocking chair or swing.

Bottom Floor:
- Second living room space with queen pull-out couch and Smart Roku TV
- Kitchenette/wet bar with a sink, mini fridge, Kcup coffee maker, and microwave
- Enjoy another deck with stunning mountain views from the relaxing hot
tub or have some fun with a game of ping pong located here as well
- Stackable washer/dryer are located on this floor
- Arcade game and recently updated board games are available
- Bedroom #4: Full size bed with Smart Roku TV and separate back deck

Location:
- Driveway is paved and can fit 4 regular sized cars. EV charging onsite. 20ft cable, J1772 plug, 240v/40a
- 6 miles (13 minutes) to Pigeon Forge parkway with all the attractions and
restaurants you could want!
- 5 miles (11 minutes) to Kroger for a quick grocery run or stock up is
complete with a full kitchen, fireplace, and more.
- 8 miles (17 minutes) to Dollywood Amusement Park
- 10 miles (20 minutes) to Splash Country
- 10 miles (20 minutes) to Hiking from Little Greenbrier Trailhead
- 14 to 17 miles (~25 to 30 minutes) to Gatlinburg attractions (Anakeesta,
Ripley’s Aqaurium, Ski at Ober, and more!)
- Soak in the hot tub, or have a blast playing ping pong
- There are some mountain roads and includes/curves leading up to the
cabin. Once or twice and you will be an expert!
- Winter weather may require the use of 4 wheel drive and / or chains on
certain roads. If we have snowy or icy conditions, roads are typically
cleared in 24 to 48 hours.
- We recommend following local travel advice, and we are not able to give
refunds for weather related issues.

2 Decks w/ Mountain Views

- Hot Tub towels provided
- Please note the hot tub water may at times appear greenish due to a chemical reaction of the sanitizer which is required to be in the hot tub and iron mineral that is in the water in this area. This should clear up over the course of a couple of days. The water is perfectly safe and sanitary to be in.

Pets
- Dogs are conditionally permitted
- We allow for one dog only regardless of size
- We will need to know type, age, and weight
- A $199 pet fee will be applied for 1, this will cover the additional cleaning and minor repairs
- The guest will be responsible for any repairs above $50 and charged accordingly
- No puppies or cats/kittens
- We provide two bowls for water and/or food located in main floor bedroom closet
- Note bathroom options are limited at our property for pets as we are on a narrow road, on the side of a mountain so you will need to put your dog on a leash and walk them to find a suitable bathroom spot
- Please clean up after your dog's bathroom breaks
- There are bears and coyotes, do not let your dog or kids roam freely
- If there is an accident in the house, please clean immediately with resolve pet cleaner underneath the kitchen sink. Thank you!

Additional Notes
- Please no smoking inside or outside our home.
- We provide a starter supply of dish soap, hand soap, sponge, dishwasher
pods, laundry pods, paper towels and toilet paper
- Starter supply of K-cups, coffee filters, ground coffee, and sweeteners as
well as salt/pepper and some other commonly used baking items
- We have available a pack 'n play, mattress insert, and sheet protector and sheet (please use both!)
- There is a booster seat and high chair available in the main floor bedroom closet.
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things
that are beyond our control. We highly recommend trip insurance in case
you need to cancel outside of our policy window!
- Bugs! There are bugs in the mountains and you may encounter some. To
help avoid this please keep all doors closed as much as possible. We have
a pest control service performed monthly to help control this as much as
possible but this cannot be 100% mitigated.
- Bears! Our furry friends in the mountains are quite clever and know how
to open car doors and will do so looking for food. They will damage your
car and the cabin if doors and windows are left open OR unlocked. To
avoid this LOCK windows/car doors/trash receptacles. Do not leave food,
coolers, and please clean the grill after use. Do not allow children to play
unsupervised. Damage and liability will be your responsibility.
- Security Camera: The property has an exterior camera facing the
driveway/front door in use for your safety
- Quiet Hours: We ask that you treat our home as your own and preserve
it’s condition for future guests and hopefully your return visit! To respect our neighbors we ask that you observe quiet hours from 9:00pm to
7:00am
Guest access
You will have complete access to the cabin. You do not want to miss this one. This cabin has so much to offer your family during your stay. There is room for everyone and plenty of entertainment to keep you busy while you are at the cabin. Choose Big Elk Lodge for your next family vacation.

Big Elk Lodge has Comcast / Xfinity internet and every TV includes a Roku that is set up for guests to login to their own streaming apps.
