LAKE HOUSE 6 MINUTES TO TOWN.BRING YOUR WATER SPORTS GEAR AND ENJOY
8/10 Good
"It is a very nice place. If you’re out there to golf this is a great location! We golfed Neepawa, Minnedosa and Poplar Ridge. The lake house is well stocked with everything you need. They could use a couple ice cube trays and a round pizza pan. The front living didn’t have very comfortable seating and that’s where you want to sit to enjoy the lake view. Maybe replace that hide-a-bed with a more comfortable sofa unit. The lake was stinky so not great to sit on the deck if the wind isn’t blowing in the right direction or if the wind hasn’t blown the algae off the lake. In the basement, the switch for the ping pong room stays on all the time because that controls the septic tank. We had the loud alarm go off at 9:30pm and didn’t know what to do. That is a warning that the septic tank needs to be pumped out. We silenced the alarm but didn’t know the impact of doing so. The alarm is a warning so continuing to use water (showering, flushing the toilet) is okay but those details should be on a 1-page sheet included with the check out details on the clipboard in the livingroom so the guests are fully aware and don’t panic. The host Lourdes was wonderful to deal with and was very responsive."
