No keys for the lockers, no key to get into the front door. Essentially anybody from anywhere can get into the hostel if they want. Security is basically non existent. Their excuse for this is that Seoul is very safe and that they have police monitoring the streets frequently, but that doesn’t matter when the other people living in the hostel are strangers from all around the world and you dont know their background.

I had 2 nights reserved, only stay one bc don’t have a place to go , but left the next morning. The place is dirty , I stayed in a single room,and bed ( was more that a box spring) was so uncomfortable. You can feel the springs metal . The common area is so close and you can listen people talking. Everything was disgusting, the bathroom, entrance , stairs all dirty like haven’t been clean in a long long time . When I got there a girl from Mexico did a check in , but she didn’t know any helpful information. Just how to buy a card to use the metro and buses. They also don’t provide connector to charge your cell ( if you coming from States or Europe ) .in the pictures looks pretty different. If they put a litte more effort could be better. Be aware.

the long term staff here are fantastic. they are kind and keep the facilities clean. the facility is also comfortable for long term stay. it has a complete kitchen, private rooms, and even tables on the bunkbeds. however this property does not have locks anywhere. not on the front door, not on the room doors, and there are no keys to the lockers, which I requested when I arrived. when my dress went missing the owner had no remorse. he only told me to "make sure that I check out by 11am" I believe his short term staff with whom I shared a room with took the dress as she complained that she had nothing to wear when we went to a cafe together. the next day she was responsible for cleaning the rooms and it was the same dress that I wore when we went to the cafe together. I thought about volunteering for him, but he is unkind and only cares about money. his longterm volunteer staff are the ones running this facility and they do a good job, but he doesn't care about his guests. a couple of nights ago a young woman almost died here from an allergic reaction from her medication and he was so cruel and indifferent. if you care about your wellbeing, dont want your belongings stolen, or care about locked facilities, I dont recommend this place.

セキュリティボックスがあると思いきや、鍵はないのでガバガバ民度が良ければ安心南京錠持って行くことをお勧めするシャワーは綺麗、2部屋あったトイレも綺麗ドライヤーは1台あるが弱め　まあ乾かせる個々のベッドにカーテンはないけどまあ気にならなかった１日寝るくらいならいいか〜って感じ

This property, by virtue of it's geographical location to Yongsan and Itaewon/HBC/Kyoungidan is a great place to stay if you just need a bed to sleep in. It has great access to two subway lines. The neighborhood is very popular for it's traditional Korean food and smoked fish restaurants.

信じられないほど汚かった。立地は駅近だが、宿までの道のりは治安が悪かった。掃除済みのはずの部屋なのに床には髪の毛がたくさん落ちてるし布団と枕にも何本かついてた。シーツも汚いしマットレスは少し動いたらスプリングの音がものすごくうるさかった。あとおそらく長期滞在してる人がいてシンクにはその人の洗い物が山積みだったし、ずっと部屋の前の共同スペース(リビング)に居座って(5時間以上)トイレに行く時気まずかった。部屋に鍵はあるがかけようとしたらかけられず、長い時間部屋を開ける時(シャワーなど)も部屋の前に知らない人がいるし少し心配だった。

Good location for Koridoor Tour

The reason we booked this hostel is because of the location. We'd booked DMZ tour from Koridoor and it was about 15 mins walking distance from the hostel. It's also less than 5 mins walk from Samgakji station. So it's all really convenient. It's worth taking note that reception closes at 11 pm, we'd narrowly caught it after having to rush a lot. Called in advance to let them know and they said they'll email me steps to do self check-in but for some reason, I wasn't able to receive the email. Thankfully, we made it in time or else we would've been homeless for the night. Staff speak decent English and was friendly. We stayed on the 3rd floor of a double room, it was clean and a good size. Shared bathroom could be cleaner but it was still comfortable to use. Small towels and hairdryer provided. Kitchen has many cooking utensils and appliances including microwave and fridge as well as water dispenser. Narrow stairway to go upstairs and no lift available but it was alright for us as we only had backpacks. Overall, would stay again!

Good, Clean Hostel.

Hause Itaewon is near Samgakji station near exit 1. It made going to Sangsu and Itaewon very easy, and other attractions within that area. The surrounding area is reasonable but neither quiet nor of much interest. The beds and rooms were clean. When they cleaned my bed they did not provide me another towel. Make sure you have enough amenities if staying for more than 1 night.

조용하고 편안한 게스트하우스였어요.

위치도 조용하니 좋았고 호스트 분이 친절하셨어요. 3층에는 조식 및 요리를 이용할수있는 주방도구가 마련되있고 방이 구비되어 있지만 아침잠이 많으신 남성분들은 8시 이후에 일어나서 화장실 갈려고하면 여성분들도 식사를 하고계시기 때문에 조금 뻘쭘하실수도 있어요. 그리고 방은 많은데 층마다 화장실이 하나뿐이라 대기할려면 좀 많은시간이 걸릴수도 있구요. 가격,친절도,편안함으로 따지면 괜찮은 것 같아요.
