Everything at the hotel was excellent, it’s a wonderful place to stay and a great base in Lombok. However, Sengiggi has really suffered from a fall in tourism due to natural disasters and a lack of investment as it fell out of fashion. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and some useful shops.

Best place we have stayed.

This was the best place we have stayed at so far. The room was fantastic as was the Aircon even the shower was amazing both hot and had pressure. Breakfast was great. The staff and service was without fault.

5-Star Review for Mama Bella’s Retreat Everything about our stay was simply wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, and the family who manages the property struck the perfect balance—always available if you needed anything, yet never intrusive. The grounds and pool are spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast is made to order with plenty of variety, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. It truly feels like a little oasis. Don’t hesitate—stay here! With plenty of good restaurants nearby and Senggigi Beach just a short walk away (perfect for catching those stunning sunsets), Mama Bella’s Retreat is the ideal place to relax and enjoy.

Everything was excellent: the atmosphere, the room, the breakfast, the staff, the pool. The calls to prayer cant be helped. Otherwise quiet. The restaurant next door doesnt look it but the food is delicious and cheap.

Stayed for a week. Lovely property, well maintained. Staff are all welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance and takeaways/deliveries - all great. Minor suggestion - net curtains across the outside doors would let light in and give privacy.

Beautiful spot very Zen little complex! The rooms are super comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful! Nice pool too! The hotel is tucked away in a little neighbourhood close to a mosk! The breakfast is à la carte and is absolutely delicious! The staff are very friendly and kind and very helpful!! I would definitely stay here again!

Charmant petit hôtel tenu par un couple mixte ( Indonésien et Néerlandaise) fort sympathiques et très serviables. Peuvent organiser des excursions. Sont de très bons conseils. Tout le personnel est très serviable. Pas vraiment de choix pour le dîner mais on peut réserver les plats dans le restaurant voisin et les déguster ( très bons) à l’hôtel Sinon l’accès aux restaurants du centre-ville et à la plage se fait à pieds en 10-15mn On se sent vraiment comme à la maison Je recommande

Sympathique et très agréable

Endroit très calme sauf le réveil à 5 h du matin par la prière de la mosquée située juste à côté de l’hôtel. Le jardin arboré et la piscine sont très entretenus et très agréable. Personnel et direction aux petits soins.

Ce fut vraiment agréable !! Bel emplacement et piscine très belle !! Même durant le Ramadan avec l’air climatisé qui roule nous entendions à peine les prières. Personnel super attentionné, petit déjeuner inclus simple et très bon ! Belles excursions autour de l’ile disponibles sur place ce qui est super pour voir de la région. Très beau séjour je recommande fortement!

I really loved stay here, everyone is really friendly and helpful. Its very quiet at times which is great when you want to relax. The only time it is not quiet is during the call to prayer from the mosque down the road but you get used to the sound.

Fantastisk!

Dette var en av de fineste hotellopplevelsene vi hadde i Indonesia. Rommet var rent, AC fungerte utmerket, det var kjøleskap og safe, og badet var veldig fint. Varmtvann og bra trykk i dusjen, rent og fungerende toalett, samt myggnetting for å holde insekter ute. God og stabil wifi. Servicen var også helt på topp her. Vi fikk en god velkomst, med en gjennomgang av alt de kunne ordne for oss. De hadde egen sjåfør som arrangerte utflukter til en god pris, og vi anbefaler å bruke ham. Vi brukte ham også for å komme oss til Kuta. De har ikke egen restaurant, men de kan ordne med levering fra flere lokale restauranter, og de skaffer massører på bestilling, så man kan få massasje på rommet. De ordner også med klesvask til samme pris som de man finner i gatene. Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde, og vi angrer på at vi ikke ble flere netter!

It is like a small, beautiful oasis amid the still very evident earthquake devastation...we were very happy that we chose Mama Bella’s Retreat. Only downsides are the extremely loud broadcasts from the mosque in the near vicinity, often joined by others close by.
