Welcome to the website for the "Himmelreich" vacation rental in the Lusatian Lake District.

This modern, 152 m² vacation apartment, located in the city center and spread over two floors, can accommodate up to 8 guests (including infants up to approx. 2 years old) without the need for extra beds, and is also available for longer stays upon request.

On the lower level of the apartment, the 80 m² space features a spacious entryway with plenty of built-in closets for daily clothing, as well as two spacious, individually lockable bedrooms, each equipped with a TV. A combined living and sleeping area in an open-concept layout (studio) with a writing desk, seating area, and play corner complements the quiet and private spaces. A very spacious bathroom area with two sinks, a bathtub designed for two guests, and an additional shower—along with a large wall-mounted heater that keeps towels warm—is designed to provide our guests with a pleasant atmosphere here as well.

The upper, air-conditioned apartment area, spanning 72 square meters, invites you to linger in a large, open, and bright living space featuring separate dining, relaxation, and seating areas, including a beautiful farmhouse fireplace, a TV with internet access, and a rocking chair for reading books from our small library. The kitchen, which opens onto the living area, complements the ambiance in a very subtle way. Our guests enjoy the view of the city and the surrounding countryside from the dining area.

We have also provided secure parking. Your vehicle, as well as bicycles, for example, can be parked or stored directly in the private parking lot on the property.

The city center is a 5-minute walk from our property, and the city harbor and beach are another 5 minutes away. To explore the surrounding area, all standard regional transportation options—including train, taxi, and bus (all within a 5-minute walk)—are readily available. In the immediate vicinity, there’s also a bike rental service as another option for exploring the region’s well-developed bike paths. The immediate local infrastructure within a 300-meter radius offers you plenty of options right at your doorstep, including two supermarkets, a café and pastry shop, a hair salon, a pharmacy, a video rental store, specialty shops, a playground, a theater, a snack bar, a bowling center, and restaurants.

The city and the Lusatia region, as a constantly evolving tourist destination, significantly expand the range of options available to you. We’ve already prepared extensive resources for you here—for sunny days as well as those less-than-ideal days when the weather isn’t so great—and we’re happy to assist you with our experience and a few helpful tips.

In addition to standard amenities, the property owners will provide you with the following additional furnishings or services during your stay:

- Well-equipped kitchen with standard household utensils, dishes, silverware, and pots, including a toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave, blender, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer, plus much more

- Duvets, pillows, and bed linens, complete with bedspreads for each guest

- Alarm clock per bedroom and safe for valuables
- Hand towels and bath towels per guest, as well as soap, disinfectant, and toilet paper
