「I had an event at Star Pass resort so if they would cut through the mountain, lol, it would’ve been perfect but since they haven’t done that, it’s still only a 16 minute drive. The hotel get commandeered by the event attendees and vendors and I don’t do crowds well day and night. This is the first place I’ve stayed in a while that doesn’t have keyless entry but they were quick the send the lock box code (note to self you can’t get to it on the app the day of checkout, so be sure to write it down...

My night sky luminous meter put this area at around a Bortle scale of 4.5. Having th convivence of a home 30 feet away far outweighs an even darker location.
