The owners were so friendly and welcoming…they want you to feel like family. It was genuinely a wonderful stay!
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Close to many interesting sights. Great breakfast! Would like to have a small fridge in the room but overall a wonderful place!! Would definitely stay here again.
Wow. Absolutely excellent hotel. We stayed in one of the private cabins. It was clean and beautiful and had everything you could need. Bed was comfortable and great views of surrounding area. Food at main hotel was delicious. Had dinner and breakfast. Recommend both. Staff exceptional. Great stop on our trip. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting, very nice place but too many rules. Also, be forewarned, no televisions in the room and the lounge tv is large but on such a low volume that it is practically worthless. Nice breakfast.
The cottage is amazing. It's beautiful. You can see the horses, cats surrounding you. My family like this hotel very much. The cottage is especially fit families. The hotel is clean.
My family stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the South Coast. The cabin we stayed in was very cute. The farmland surrounding the property was very peaceful. My only complaint was that I breakfast was not included in our stay, even though I thought the booking said it was. Also, the management was not overly helpful with local recommendations when I reached out to them.
The property was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It is in a beautiful rural setting. There are several areas around the property that invite guests to sit down and relax.
The breakfast was wonderful. There was a variety of options available and all were fresh and delicious.
We had a great time at the property and the staff was amazing! The property itself is at an amazing location and the service was top notch!

This place was not what I expected reading about it. Check in was fine but the person at the reception insisted we leave our shoes in the front. They do not provide courtesy slippers and so we had to walk in our socks to the room. They have a motley basket of slippers, which I’m not wearing! God knows whose feet were in them before me. Half were grungy travel slippers. The room had no shampoo or conditioner. Hot water took awhile to come. As we were the only people, the staff had breakfast setup in a small frig in the dining room. We could have it anytime between 7-10 am! This place had more dos and don’t s than amenities.
At least the bed was clean and we could sleep for the night.
The property is ideally located and on a gorgeous farm. We loved seeing the horses (with foals!) and the cats who visited our cottage! We enjoyed the dinner on-site. The cottage was clean and basic. There are no extra frills here, but we found it to be charming for our family.
The staff were very friendly! Signage was easy to follow. The cottage was very spacious and had a great view. We had a cat visitor during our stay. They have a hot tub which was clean and easy to access. Overall great experience and value!
Beautiful location, friendly staff, very clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. One of our favorite things is no shoes when entering the place. We would definitely recommend this place.
It was amazing, super friendly staff, we took advantage of the laundry service and breakfast. The laubdry service was quick and all our clothes were neatly packed. Breakfast was good, with several options to choose from.
Great property to see the northern lights in winters. The property recently built a new wing with very modern, clean and practical rooms. You can't go wrong with this property.
A wonderful horse farm on a beautiful country road. Cute private cottages with a porch and adequate kitchen. We were there in the winter and lucky enough to see the northern lights from the porch. Easy to drive to nearby towns for sightseeing or groceries. Best breakfast buffet of the three places we stayed in Iceland.
One of our favorite stays in Iceland! The main house has great dining options (dinner and breakfast) as well as a very friendly and accommodating staff. Walking around the property and petting some of the horses completed the experience. The guest houses were beautiful, clean, and secluded from the daily hustle. Highly recommended lodging in Iceland.
