「Modern renovation, while retaining some original features (e.g. flagstone floor in cafe area). Clean and comfortable. Everything was self service so no staff on site (a bit impersonal but not really an issue). Definitely a good option for fellow solo visitors to the area.」

「Lovely little place , parking is tight . Super clean and fresh . I never stayed for breakfast as up early but he made me a take out bag with fruit, yogurt , pastries etc which was really nice of him.
Also had complimentary biscuits , water and crisps which was a nice touch 」

「ヨーク大学の近くのホテルを探していて、庭や部屋の雰囲気が素敵だったので予約しました。ヨーク駅からは、7番のバスに乗って、Fulford Road, Main Streetで下車します。バスの運転手さんにホテルの名前を告げたところ、近くまで来たら教えてもらえました。部屋は広く、スーツケース2つ十分に広げるスペースがあります。またベッドもかなり広く快適で、夜ぐっすり休むことができました。古いホテルなので、少し壁が薄いですが、夜は静かでした。浴槽付で、洋服ダンス、引き出しなど収納スペースも十分あり、長期滞在にも便利です。ヨーク大学までは、歩くと20分ほどかかります。地元の人が愛用している、昔からあるホテルのようで、滞在中よく結婚式やパーティーなどが行われていました。近くにパブがあり、ホテルで食事も可能です。ただ市内に出たほうが、お店はたくさんあると思います。宿泊は年配の方が多かった気がします。ヨークで静かに過ごしたい人におすすめです。」
