Poor room

The ordinary room was awful, so after the first night we upgraded to a suite. In spite of showing the ‘make up room’ tag, the room was not serviced.

Relatively new hotel a short walk from IKEA, other shopping, and a good garden centre. Most of the area is commercial with pleasant housing to the east of the commercial complex. Nice reception area / restaurant area and very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Very limited free parking

Free parking. But only very limited parkingspaces. Choosed the hotel because of free parking. But there where only about 10 parking spaces. Beside from that very nice hotel, excellent service and cleaning

All very good except for two minor points. Restocking of the room consumables rather hit and miss. No English Breakfast teabags at breakfast, which otherwise was excellent.

The internet connection and TV was not working in the room. Breakfast opened at 7 am, but no warm food was prepared and only some of the cold alternatives. When breakfast is from 7-10, my expectations is that everything is prepared and ready from 7.

So many problems in such short time

We can all make mistakes and I understand that it is not always the fault of the staff if somethings are not working but then at least apologize. Here is a list of what I experienced during my stay from the 15-18 of January. 5x - gave up on finding anyone in the reception although it was supposed to be 24/7 4x - my keycard had to be re-configured because it had stopped working 2x - the sauna was cold 1x - I asked for late checkout but it was not put into the system so the cleaner tried to kick me out of the room 1x breakfast ended at 10.00 but already 9.20 Saturday morning there were no more pancakes, cakes, croissants and cheese Sometimes you got an apology from the staff and other times they seemed not really to care. The bed was soft which is the only positive thing I can say about the hotel unfortunately.

Loved it!

I really loved the stay here. The breakfast was amazing, the room was gorgeous and the service was excellent! I am definitely coming back! And the location was also super convenient! There were minor cleaning parts that were not up to my expectations when I first got the room, and the last day during check out I found a used snus container under the bed which is still there (room 207). Also it got very hot in the room and there was no way to cool it down since the ac did not work properly and I couldn’t open the window. So the temperature was quite high constantly which I heard other guests also asked about. But I took cold showers to cool myself down. But that is fixable so for upcoming guests it won’t be an issue I suppose. I would have wished for a small fridge for my smoothies that I drank in the evening because they got very warm after an hour due to the room temperature being so high. But other that that I still think it was 10/10! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind! I really loved this hotel! Also the lunch was super delicious!!! And they really try to give you that little extra to make you feel happy! Once again I really loved it!

Stannade ons-sön. Ingen som stĂ€dade men kan va sĂ„ att man fĂ„r hĂ€nga ”please clean”-skylten pĂ„ dörren. Men va ingen fara. BusshĂ„llplats precis utanför hotellet sĂ„ inga problem att enkelt ta sig till t-bana. 10 min till SkĂ€rholmen till fots. God frukost o överlag trevlig personal. Finns litet gym.

Well worth the money

The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet, only the AC was a little louder than what I personally am used to. The sauna at the top floor and the late night pizza bar in the lobby were a nice little addition to an overall good experience.

OBJUDET BESÖK PÅ NATTEN! - REKOMENDERAS INTE!!!

TyvÀrr sÄ intrÀffade en sak under min första natt som absolut inte fÄr hÀnda som fick mig att lÀmna hotellet dagen dÀrpÄ. UngefÀr 01.15 vaknar jag av det blir ljust i rummet nÀr min rumsdörr öppnas! Jag skriker hallÄ och den stackars gÀst som precis Àr pÄ vÀg att gÄ in i mitt rum blir lika rÀdd som mig dÄ han inte förvÀntar sig att det redan ska finnas en gÀst i det rum han precis fÄtt! Han förklarar att han precis checkat in och och ber mig om ursÀkt och försvinner. Min puls Àr nu sÄ hög att jag beslutar mig för att inte konfrontera receptionen pÄ natten dÄ jag riskerar att sÀga ett eller flera mindre genomtÀnkta ord till dem och försöker att somna om. Detta Àr nu lÀttare sagt Àn gjort och jag flyger upp sÄ fort nÄgon annan dörr öppnas i nÀrheten. PÄ morgonen kontaktar jag receptionen som bara sÀger typ "hoppsan" och det stÄr att du ska jag bo i ett annat rum. En dÄlig ursÀkt och att vi ska skriva en rapport pÄ detta var allt jag fick till svar. Efter att ha passerat receptionen flertal gÄnger under dagen utan nÄgon kommit med en bÀttre ursÀkt eller förklaring sÄ beslutade jag mig för att checka ut för jag vill inte ha objudet besök en natt till. Where to start, well this was a very lovely two night stay for my friend and I. We were in town for my birthday and a concert and this stay was absolutely wonderful. The entire staff made us feel at home but there was one employee who really gave top tier customer service and warm hospitality. Thomas was a wonderful person to come across, from the moment we walked in he was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. He even went above and beyond when it came to dinner for my birthday in the hotel’s restaurant after we flew all day. As a former hospitality worker in an array of positions and environments (in America) I can certainly say Thomas was among the best. The entire staff made us feel comfortable & welcome. The breakfast was very good so make sure you wake up on time for that! If you’re traveling via Uber, it’s fairly easy to get one within 15-20 minutes so plan ahead. If I should find myself in Sweden again, I will definitely want to stay here! Thank you staff of Best Western and especially Thomas! Peace & love, Carrie
