The Rooms Upstairs Sanctuary Room #4 is one of 2 unique and charming accommodations one block off Hwy 89a in Uptown Sedona, Arizona, for nightly or weekly stays. We offer a motel like experience with this room situated in a building that is an Architect Business downstairs. The rooms are reserved separately. Conveniently located 1 block from Hwy 89a which is the main road going through Sedona's Uptown locations, including shops, restaurants, sightseeing and museums. Ideal for guests who like to just walk or do not travel with a car, but we do have our own parking lot for those that bring one.

The property is one of only two private hotel-style rooms over an award winning building acclaimed for its architectural style. After a day of sightseeing, step out on the private patio to relax and take in the breathtaking views that Sedona is world famous for.

Step out the door and walk to fantastic hiking such as the famous Brins Mesa, Jordan Park or Cibola Trails. Check out the local eateries just steps from your door, or prepare your meals in the room with a view and never have to leave it.

Lovely, lovely stay!

Our room was very clean, comfy and close to town and all the hikes we wanted to do. Rebecca was very accommodating and communicated with us every step of the way. When we decide to visit Sedona again in the future, we will not hesitate to book with Rebecca.

The perfect location.

This was a perfect place for us to stay in Sedona. It is closet lots of restaurants and shopping plus you see all of the beautiful mountains everywhere you walk and right out of your bedroom window.

Fun Wedding Weekend

What a great location! Just blocks from the cute old town of Sedona. This apartment has such a unique setting! Outdoor seating with a stunning view as well! Would definitely stay here again. The unit itself was very cute, clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was bigger than expected, it was nice to have breakfast there before heading out for the day.

Location and Parking

It was nice to have free parking onsite for our rental car as we planned on driving to the Grand Canyon one day. You can walk everywhere in the town from your room. Comfortable bed and very clean. Host responded quickly to messages. Check in and out was so simple.

Comfortable and great location

This is an adorable little place so close to everything! Very clean, neatly decorated! Only request would be to make sure the little light over the lock box works, as it's very dark up there and the combination on the lock box is hard to read. Otherwise everything was flawless!

Awesome place.

Great location in uptown Sedona. It is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails. In fact, once we parked at the property, we didn't need the car for the rest of our stay. The property was clean and had everything you'd need. There is also an upstairs patio with nice views, where we had coffee in the morning, and dinner at night. Overall, we were very happy with our new find in Sedona.

A Room Above-Sedona

This room is perfect for us! We have stayed here and in Room 3 several times. It's walking distance to downtown Sedona and has private parking. It's always very clean. There's a small kitchen area with a table to eat at. The kitchen has all the basics, toaster, coffee pot, coffee, tea, dishes, silverware, everything we needed.

As always a great place to stay!

I have stayed at The Rooms Upstair 3 times now. The room is always well prepared and stocked for my stay. Rebecca always is in touch prior to arrival with availability of the rooms. And at checkout to be sure everything was good. The Rooms upstairs are perfectly located for anyone who likes to hike, as there are trail located quite close by. It is only a few steps to some great restaurants and shops in Uptown. I will certainly be staying here again.

The only place we’ll stay when we visit Sedona again!

The Rooms Upstairs are the perfect place to stay in Sedona. Walk 1 block and you’re in the middle of town. We had room #4 and it was perfect for us. It has so much room, a big porch (shared with only 1 other room), a kitchenette (with a large refrigerator), was spotless, and so cute. We have stayed in motels there lots of times but we will only stay here from now on!

What a neat spot to stay! It’s close to town, and yet quiet and private with fabulous outdoor space. With astounding views of surrounding red rock formations, there’s no doubt you’re in Sedona. And thank heavens for the small parking lot right there at the building. Sufficiently supplied small kitchen area. Spacious bathroom, but, heads-up, no handrails or grab bars in the tub/shower. Perfectly comfortable king-size bed allows for a great night’s sleep. Fun, pleasant, comfortable Southwest architecture… love the colors of the interior stucco walls and tile work.

Loved this Room! Stayed solo 4 nights and it was perfect. Just a block from the main "tourist" section with food, drinks, stores, jeep tours, etc. Luxury towels, hair dryer, elegant sheets and plenty of k-cup coffee. Huge covered porch looking at the awesome red rocks. Little things like I locked my door key back into the "realtor" lock box when I left so I didn't have to keep it in my pocket. Not a purse type girl. Ha! Parking was convenient and safe.
