"There are zero redeeming qualities about this hotel. The shower consisted of a bucket, the bed was on an old metal box spring and the mattress felt like it came from a fold out couch. All of that was forgivable and Ina way quaint and a fun little story for friends. however, the dozens of aggressive mosquitos in the room were the last straw. "

"Our stay was excellent. From breakfast buffet, swimming pool dips, customer service, ambiance, to walking distance to the local restaurants, we were very happy. The manager Arpan took care of us in a special way by surprising us with a cake for my sister and mine birthdays. This was our first stay and definitely more to come. Thank you for taking care of us. "

The Metropolitan Hotel and Spa New Delhi

"The highlight of a short tour of Delhi at the height of hot weather was the incredible comfort we experienced at The Met. The breakfast was so satisfying with dosa’s and Omlettes on demand to great tasting masala chia. They had so many dishes at breakfast that it was hard to decide what to eat. The chef assured me that the meat was halal and the two non-halal items were prepared completely separate. The showers were the best after sightseeing all day in the heat which many people don’t think about but will greatly appreciate. The staff of Shiv, Sunil and Marvinder proactively kept asking if we needed anything like water, towels, etc and got us whatever we asked for immediately. The property is a great balance between historical and modern. The managers checked that we were enjoying ourselves and Mr. Shrivastava even gave me his direct contact with permission to call anytime if I needed anything. The bell staff and front desk staff were very welcoming when we arrived and gracious upon departing. I highly recommend staying here. "
