The good: Great location, plenty of places within walking distance to eat. I was grateful that the host allowed us to pay for a late check out to accommodate my daughter’s late flight. There was enough bath linens for all of us & the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast/lunches. The beds were all neatly made & bed linens were freshly cleaned. There were beach toys, boards, chairs, & an umbrella in the utility room, which supplemented what we brought. The not good: (in all fairness to the host, I did not complain about any issues because we didn't feel they could be addressed while we were there anyway.) The condo is in need of a good, deep cleaning and general maintenance. The mattress in the master bedroom has a dip in it. The bed in the second bedroom was pretty firm. The main bathroom has mold all over the air vent, and around the ceiling over the tub. There appeared to be cover up paint around the vent and parts of the ceiling at wall edges. The faucet in the tub dripped constantly & the shower head leaks/didn’t spray right. The dishwasher has stains of some sort down the front and didn’t wash during the first cycle (it ran, but dispenser didn’t open). The ice maker didn’t make much ice and took a bit to dispense. We didn’t use the washer/dryer so I can’t comment on their function. Top surfaces were cleaned, but each room needs dusting, walls/baseboards wiped down, & furniture swept under. The living room furniture looks worn.
