Unique experience
This home was incredibly clean and very cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped with great views of the woods. Meeting with the host at check in can sometimes be a bit stressful but Kristin made us feel very welcome including welcome snacks and fresh eggs. Lot's to explore in the area but hard to leave this property.

Silver Falls and Wine country
We picked this spot for its proximity to Silver Falls State park and wine country. The property manager greeted us personally and gave us a tour first thing. The home itself is charming with the most amazing kitchen which had everything you might need to make a meal or two. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in a truly lovely part of Oregon. Thank you!

Best stay in a long, long time!
We are 4 school friends in our early 70s, who have spent long weekends annually for the past 30 years. This house was the most comfortable with best equipped & spacious kitchen. Great linens, lots of room, beautiful setting (we were able to see the eclipse “ring of fire” & close enough to a cute town with shops & lots of restaurants. We had a lovely time & highly recommend this great VRBO experience!

Nice Quiet Get Away
Great little country house in a serene setting. Home is well appointed and hosts were a delight. Kona welcomed us each morning and the horses were beautiful. I wish we had planned more time at the house to enjoy the property.

This place is infused with charm. One of the most lovely family friendly stays we’ve ever experienced—and we’re world travelers! Delightful Country Retreat
This house was great for our group of three women. The host was gracious and provided some lovely welcome treats when we arrived. And the kitchen was incredibly well stocked! We enjoyed wandering around the property to pet the horses and sitting on the patio. We took day trips to Silver Falls, Mac's in Silverton for lunch, and Baumans Farm. It was delightful. The host was available if we had any questions and we enjoyed chatting with her. It was nice!

Fun farm stay
The grounds were lovely and our daughter really enjoyed the farm critters. Everything was very clean. There was a door in the master bedroom to the back deck that only had a sheer see-through curtain so someone could look in the bedroom from the back deck and there was no way to cover it. We wished that there had been a covering for privacy. Also they do not give you any keys so there's no way to lock up when you leave. I do understand that it's a low crime area which is great but we didn't like that we didn't have the choice to lock while we were gone.

Amazing property, better than the listing!
We loved every minute of our stay here! The host, chickens, horses, peacock, cat and dog added to the amazing views and super plush home. The kitchen is fantastic, beds were super comfy, fire pit with Adirondack seats, and the hot tub was just what we needed after a sweet 10 mile hike at Silver Falls State Park, an easy 25 minute drive from the property. We have already decided that we will return!

Everything you need for a relaxing getaway
I took my 14yr old daughter, sister, her husband, and 10 and 6 yr old nephews. The kids loved playing chess, visiting with the animals, and hanging out in the hot tub. The adults loved sitting on the deck or in the hot tub, going on hikes and walking around the farm. It was very relaxing and there was plenty of room. Kristin was lovely and easy to get ahold of. Wonderful trip!

Cozy Hallmark Getaway
My friends and I encountered a highly unusual surprise snowfall for the area and we found ourselves snowed in for the night but we couldn’t have chosen a better setting to watch the snow fall out the window. This house is charming and beautiful and filled with eclectic but sophisticated style. It possesses the perfect combination of instagramable chic and country beauty. Our host was wonderful and helpful to us in the tricky weather situation we found ourselves in and every detail was attended to. She welcomed us with a home tour and had refreshments waiting for us in the kitchen. This was more than just a house to stay in, it was an experience to remember. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Every inch was impeccably clean. We felt like we were on a Hallmark movie set and we’d visit again in a heartbeat.

Excellent get away from it all farm experience
One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had. The property is great, the farmhouse is really charming and comfortable, and Kristen is a very welcoming host. It is a little off the beaten path. I did not have cell service, but they do have a landline and Wi-Fi access. The nearest big town is Silverton, which is a lot of fun. The property is 30 minutes from Silver Falls State Park, which is amazing!

Nice stay with friends
The house was beautiful, much bigger and cleaner than anticipated. Beautifully decorated as well! I stayed with 4 friends and there was enough room for all of us to have our own space. Silver Falls State Park was a bit further than I would have guessed given the map on the listing - ended up being a 40 minute drive.

So glad Annie and her guests enjoyed my property, we enjoyed hosting tem. We really take pride in providing a great experience for our guests! We always encourage guests to contact us if they have questions about our property and the surrounding area. We are in an ideal location to get away and enjoy nature. Including Silver Falls St. Park and The Trail of Ten Falls. This famous hike is a big draw for our guests, as we are about 25 miles from the park. We do advise guests drive to the park through The Town of Silverton. I am not sure what map VRBO is posting on the website, and it is unfortunate if it was misleading, however, we don’t put maps on our listing ourselves. And using a mapping program is not always be the best way to get around as some mapping programs route guests the wrong way on a gravel road.

Total relaxation in the country!
Loved everything about our stay at the guest house. We will most definitely be back! Home is clean with everything you could ever need and more. Atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. This was the perfect get away for our anniversary and from the stresses of life. Thank you for the warm greeting and the special goodies, they were unexpected and delightful. We will miss Kona and the evening visits with the horses.

Kristen’s cottage is beautiful and cozy; right out of a magazine. The home is immaculate and stocked with everything you could need to cook and do laundry. Kristen is very friendly and very accommodating to her renters every need. The cottage is in VERY CLOSE proximity to the owners home, an employees home and 2 other rental homes.

Fabulous house and location
Wonderful property in gorgeous wooded area looking into open fields. The house is welcoming, the location restful, the pond a delight. The well equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. We had everything we needed for our week’s stay. Being around horses, a friendly dog, and a chicken with baby chicks was special. The setting is so enjoyable it minimized the desire to go anywhere else.

Secluded Retreat
This property is landscaped beautifully and easy to walk. The house is a quaint older home that is farm house style with much attention to small details. You enter through the laundry room and must take off shoes to protect flooring, as you are on a farm. There are three main sleeping areas and an annex. THe master bedroom is gorgeous andthe mattress is very firm. The annex with two twin beds is beyond the master room and attached ( you have to go through master to gain entry). The master bath is very well done and has lots of little special treats. The second bedroom has a double bed with very firm mattress and antiques bedframe. The second bathroom is lovely. The third sleeping area has no interior door and is off the dining room. This is a fold out couch which Kristen nicely made up for my daughter. The kitchen is wonderful with fantastic views and well appointed tools spices and kitchen appliances (blender instapot coffee machine grinder etc.) And the breakfast nook was also fabulous. Never go to the hot tub but sits right outside the living room. The internet is spotty and cell service is non existent. We hike Silver Falls Trail of Ten Falls - this is a must do, if you can hike absolutely gorgeous. Great stay and Kristen truly cares for you.

COZY COTTAGE
Great place to stay for a quiet getaway; cottage is tucked in between owner's residence and lots of gorgeous foliage. Your view off the back deck is absolutely stunning and serene. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking and adventuring to the surrounding area. Kitchen is large and very well equipped in all areas!!

A little slice of peace and tranquility
The host was excellent upon arrival, the home was immaculate and full of character and charm. This may have been the cleanest vacation rental to date. This was the ideal place to unplug relax and feel at ease. We spent the whole weekend cooking, reading and walking the grounds. There is no cell service but Wi-Fi is available. No cell service was really nice as my phone didn’t ring once all weekend. Kudos to the hosts for having a little slice of peace and quiet.

This home is so well appointed. The decor and energy of the space is just wonderful. So peaceful. All the furniture is beautiful and very comfortable. The linens, dishes etc are all high quality and beautiful. There is so much attention to detail In absolutely everything. There was even a hiking backpack in a cabinet which came in so handy when I hiked the trail on the property. Very thoughtfully arranged home. It’s fun to just look at the interesting decor of the home and explore the wide array of cool books in the home. Loved the hot tub. I can’t wait to return.

Magical farm stay!
This was a magical stay for 4 adults seeking a peaceful getaway. The home was clean and beautiful. The owner spent time walking the property and home with us, and even showing us the barn and horses. We took a long walk (couple miles) over the property, which crosses a Christmas Tree farm and into a beautiful wooded area. The closest shopping/groceries/restaurants are in Silverton, which is 20 min away, so make sure you have what you need. It is also difficult to find the property in the dark, so make sure you arrive in the daylight, as requested by the owner. But it's a unique and peaceful farm stay once you get there!

Beautiful farm!
We had a great time at Kristin's farm! The house was spacious, clean and had a lot of character. Everything we needed for complete home cooked meals was in the kitchen. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub out in the private backyard. The house also came with games and a chess set. The snow had just fallen and it looked like a winter wonderland! We loved meeting the horses and Kona the dog was just precious. Kristin was very diligent in making sure we had accurate directions to find the place and also ensured we were equipped with heaters in case the storm caused a power outage (it didn't). Would love to come back in the summer.

Best VRBO rental!
I loved this place. Absolutely gorgeous home - spotlessly cleaned, and beautifully decorated. I felt completely at home. The kitchen was far and above the most well-stocked one i've ever seen for cooking. The property was so peaceful and beautiful. The directions were intimidating at first, but they were spot on accurate and i had no issues finding the property.

Best vacation ever!
If you are looking for a great stay with your friends or family look no further. This is the best. We stayed here for 2 weeks with our 3 kids and it was wonderful. There are tons of stuff to see and do and Kristin is just the best host ever. The place is kept in great shape and you almost don't want to leave it. The property around the house is another highlight. There are horses, chicken a dog to enjoy, blackberries to pick and tranquillity if you want it. The house is perfectly equipped, hot tub. bbq a view and wonderful rooms. You will love it.

A heavenly oasis !
My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights in the guest house and had the most wonderful time ! The property exceeded our expectations, it truly felt like a little slice of heaven. We loved getting to visit with the animals, take walks on the property, enjoy fresh eggs and visiting with Kristin and other guests at sunset on the main lawn. Kristin is a very welcoming host and really makes you feel at home. We appreciated her company. I just got home from our trip and I already am planning my next trip back ! This spot was the perfect place for our first few nights in Oregon. We were able to unwind in such a peaceful place, complete with a beautiful and clean home with nice decor, a wonderful farm complete with horses, chickens, nice landscaping, a peaceful pond, a private deck with grill and hot tub AND a wonderful brindle rescue lab named Kona to give us some puppy love (which always makes us feel at home). Perfect getaway!
My husband and 2year old daughter stayed on the property for 2 nights and it was so heavenly! We have stayed in MANY rentals throughout the years and this one was by far the best. It was clean, cozy, unique and on such a unique piece of land. It was so dreamy to wake up and look out at the pond and wooded area. We got to visit the horses and chickens which was the highlight of the trip for my daughter. We are definitely re-booking for summer time!

Beautiful Escape
My family visited the farm for 5 days. It was absolutely beautiful, the main house is beautiful and immaculate. The kitchen is amazing and has all the comforts you would want in your home (probably more!). Kristin was very gracious with my kids wanting to be around and exploring the farm. Camp Dakota is very close where we spent a day doing paintball, ropes courses and rock wall climbing (they also have zip lining). Silver Falls is nearby and a beautiful way to spend the day. If you are looking for an escape, a screen free time and having your kids get their hands dirty and run free - this is the place for you.

Dreamy escape, wonderful for kids and adults alike

A lovely rural girls weekend.
We enjoyed our stay here. The welcoming package was amazing. BEST STOCKED KITCHEN EVER which is where we spend most of our time. However, there were a lot of rules. The hot tub didn’t get to temperature the second night. It was what “sealed the deal” in this rental for us. Beds need updating. Beautiful house. Beautiful property. Overall great experience.

I am glad this guest enjoyed their stay. They were respectful of the space and left it clean event though they had a full house. Unfortunately, this guest did not inform us about the hot tub heating issue. If we had known it could have been easily resolved. Not sure why they thought the beds needed updating as the master and second bedroom have extremely high end mattresses and bedding with 500+ thread count cotton sheets! Most guests rave about the comfort of the Latex mattress and the quality of the bedding... And the fold out has a new mattress topper.... As to rules, well in order to keep this property clean, as it is on a farm, we do require that guests remove their shoes... All rules are listed in the initial booking agreement and are available on line as well. Not really sure what other 'rules' this guest is referring to.. We are pretty easy going> We just ask that guest be respectful of our beautiful home.

Peaceful getaway with plenty of room to relax
Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Kristin's property is beautiful and the guest house has plenty of room for relaxing. Kids enjoyed petting the horses, playing with the dogs and exploring the property. It's an easy drive to Silver Falls State Park, which is highly recommended, even with little ones. Loved it.

My daughter and I met my bestie and her daughter for a girls weekend. Perfect halfway point from where we all live. The house we rented was so adorable - the owner has such good taste in decor and making you feel so welcome! Beautiful flowers in the vase along with a basket of fresh eggs, some beverages and fruit. We each had our own room. Everything you need and more is available to you. Super clean. We loved it - tranquil, loved the horses and their animals. We went to Oregon Gardens, hiked 5 miles at Silver Creek Falls and ate/drank and shopped in Silverton. Both the owner and her staff are very accommodating and friendly. Completely private stay. Pefect place, perfect weekend. Will return :)

Karen and here friends were ideal guests. Although I didn't see much of them, it was nice to have them on the farm. The house was clean and tidy when they left, and they even left a note about a very minor coffee spill... Highly recommended and welcome back any time!
