「From the moment I was on this property I knew this is where I was meant to be. I was only there for one night, although when I return to South Uist I will certainly stay longer. 「Host was friendly. Free parking was provided. Close to town. Walk in shower was a bonus however the size of it was too small. Had to shower with the door open. Sloped ceilings in the room, bathroom and staircase were a hazard for tall people. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Continental breakfast was provided.」

「We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland.
