We loved our stay at the Scourie Lodge B&B. We opted for dinner in the evening and it was definately worth it! Breakfast was fantastic too! Our room was cute and very clean and comfortable. And we took advantage of the warm and inviting public area to relax. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Stuart and Sophie make your stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We had a large, lovely room with views of the hills and the sea. The food (breakfasts and dinners) was delicious. I would recommend the Scourie Lodge to anyone visiting the northwest corner of Scotland.

Scourie Lodge is pleasant, clean, well-appointed and has great amenities like both a large tub and a separate shower in our room. It is run by a lovely young couple and pleasant staff. I would definitely come back!

A pleasure to stay here.

Wonderful! Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. The chef was both talented and creative. The location was close to the main road but far enough away to be an oasis of tranquility and restorative after a long drive. The gardens were delightful and the locality was pure highland rugged beauty.

Beautiful House and Location

Perfect location and beautiful house/gardens. The hosts were lovely. The property did however feel slightly dated and lacked that attention to detail. Must say the breakfasts and evening meal was only average. Thankyou for allowing us to stay at your lovely home - we will return

One night stopover

It was clean and tidy hosts were very welcoming. Unfortunately the shower room was a little cramped and you were almost in the sink as you tried to sit on the toilet. The noise from room next door and their bathroom was very clear and also from kitchen below. We get that it is an older property but the door opened every time you walked across the floor. Breakfast was good very eco friendly with vegan options too. Overall a good stay but could do with some updating. Price was more than other much better b & b stays we had in previous week. Great for one night stopover

Pleasant stay

We found our room to be large and comfortable, it was quite quaint and dated. The bathroom was very large with a bathroom suite possibly from the 70s, but it was fabulous to have a bath to soak in. The bathroom was very cold, I filled the bath with hot water to warm the room up a bit. The floor is tiled, so cold to the touch. The dining room was very cold. The gardens are beautiful. The location is lovely, with views out across to the loch. Breakfast was a little chaotic, as was evening dining. The owners of the property were pleasant and friendly. The restaurant staff were very friendly.

A historic gem

Lovely historic building in a fantastic part of Scotland completed by welcoming hosts. Shower over the bath is a bit basic, but otherwise no other issues. Site has Tesla car charger ports.

A very nice B&B in a house and grounds with history close to the water’s edge and a very warm welcome. The place will be exceptionally appealing once the restaurant is up and running again.

One of the best places to stay in the Highlands.

Scourie Lodge is an excellent place to stay. The hosts, Angus and Elisabeth are very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room we stayed in was quite large with a big bathroom and was immaculate. The lodge is just off a little harbour and is very quiet. If you are ever travelling through Scourie and looking for somewhere to stay I recommend this place wholeheartedly .

Tranquil and relaxing

We had a wonderful and tranquil 3-night stay here and felt very welcomed by Elisabeth and Angus.The property is beautiful, including their walled garden.The location is handy for the village, Scourie jetty/harbour and some local walks. The room was spacious and very comfortable indeed with a super view.
