Snabb och smidig incheckning, vi bokade samma dag. Rummet var rent och utsikten fantastisk. Det stod frukost i annonsen men den fanns inte.

Camera piccolissima al piano terra , senza Finestra . Bagno troppo piccolo , mai visto un bagno con un lavandino da cuccetta tipo treno . Pulizia ok Servizio ok Posto ok anche se parcheggiare e una lotteria .

For the price, the place is in a nice area and walking distance to most things. The downside is no instructions provided from the train station (ie use the lift) & instead we had to carry 20kg bags up the hill & stairs in 30 degree heat. Exhausting. Bathroom had no hot water and shower curtain meant water went everywhere. Saving grace was air con was good! Breakfast at Bella vista cafe was a pastry and coffee which was nice.

Make sure you call ahead as we waited 1.5 hours to get into the property. Very old and run down. Never saw a breakfast?

Contrary to the reviews, there was no view from the room. The room was quite small as well. The property is in the upper town, which is a long, exhausting climb from the train station (we discovered the following day that there is a public elevator that we could have used; why didn’t the owner tell us?). The air conditioner did not work very well. The bed was not very comfortable. The owner did not tell us how to get breakfast so I had to message him to find out. Overall I was not impressed and I think I could have found better value in Scilla.

Best location with amazing view. Room is clean and well decorated. Beach is down the street, you need to go down and up the stairs. There is lift available, but it was working only on weekend now. Enjoyed Scilla food and beauty!

Un bed sans breakfast, mais bien situé

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce bed and breakfast. L’arrivée s’est faite sans souci grâce aux indications claires de l’hôte, ce qui nous a permis d’accéder à la chambre en toute autonomie — très pratique. L’emplacement est top, avec des places de parking juste devant, on a trouvé facilement. La chambre est correcte pour une nuit, avec un mini frigo et des produits de douche (shampooing et gel douche) à disposition, ce qui est appréciable. En revanche, nous avons trouvé des cheveux dans la douche à notre arrivée, ce qui donne une impression de ménage un peu bâclé. Le lit, lui, est assez bruyant et peu confortable, mais ça passe pour une nuit. Enfin, nous n’avons pas eu de petit-déjeuner, alors qu’il était censé être inclus. Un peu décevant sur ce point. En résumé : un bon stop pour une nuit, mais si vous espérez un petit-déj, mieux vaut prévoir le café vous-même !

Bed, but what about the breakfast ?

La vue est superbe par contre le check in a été compliqué. Même si le problème a été efficacement résolu. Par contre il n'a jamais été mention de petit déjeuner alors qu'il s'agit d'un b&b et qu'il était inclus dans le prix payé.... Pas grave vu le prix très attractif :)

A basic place to sleep and shower, with an amazing view. We self checked in and there was no one available when we arrived to ask for extra pillows (maybe they would have helped if I emailed. Not sure.). A very small room and the shower was not fully enclosed so the bathroom floor was wet. I noticed that the room can be booked for a third of what I paid for it (on shorter notice), and it didn't really feel like it was good value for what I paid. No amenities. Very basic. The view from the small terrace was very beautiful though and it was a short walk to a piazza with restaurants and to a cafe for coffee in the morning.

This is a beautiful B&B in one of the most beautiful towns I've ever seen. The veiws from any room are stunning. Everywhere you look in Scilla, the architecture and natural beauty are amazing but the best thing was all of the local people who made me feel so welcomed. This is a very nice, clean property with a stunning veiw right outside from whatever room you choose. The staff are very friendly and helped me with were whatever I needed. Scilla is one of the most beautiful, unique towns that I have ever seen, but what really makes it a great experience is the local people. Everyone was so kind, helpful and authentic. Again, the property, the staff and the people of Scilla are amazing.

Host was very responsive and friendly when there was significant confusion at self-checking. The room is tiny (apartment 2) with a huge armoire blocking a significant portion of the room. The shower defaulted to mostly cold water and poor water pressure. The location is fabulous and parking on the street was easy.
