"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr stilvoll und retro eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Ausflüge in den Thüringer Wald zu unternehmen. In Gräfenroda selbst hat uns die Zwergstatt sehr beeindruckt und in der Eismanufaktur haben wir Gutes genossen."

"Das Chalet ist schön aufgeteilt, Ess-, Wohn- und Schlafbereich. Die Einrichtung ist auf alt-romantisch getrimmt jedoch mit neuen Möbeln versehen. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war sauber. Jedoch das Internet könnte ein kleines Upgrade vertragen. Einziges Manko ist die Lage an der Hauptstraße. Diese ist etwas laut bei geöffneten Fenstern, besonders an Wochentagen. Der Vermieter war auskunftsfreudig, hilfsbereit und wollte das man sich wohl fühlt."

"Super schöne Gegend (trotz nicht so tollen Wetter). Vermieter sehr freundlich, Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, zum wohlfühlen . Zum einkaufen benötigt man ein auto, ohne geht nicht viel. Schade,das Sehenswürdigkeiten im Ort geschlossen hatten. Fahren gerne wieder hin."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles ist im Haus vorhanden, im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Objekten, in denen wir schon waren. Von der Filtertüte für den Kaffee über Küchentücher, Fön bis zum Brennholz für den Kamin… Die Gegend bietet Ruhe aber auch Abwechslung. Der Saaleradweg ist hier recht anspruchsvoll aber auch ohne E-Bike machbar. 6 Personen haben im Haus Platz und aufgrund zweier Bäder gibt es keine Engpässe. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter."

"Liebe Familie Muffel, ein herzliches Dankeschön für die schönen Tage!!! Es war spitze. Vor allem das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus und das super Frühstücksbuffet. "Das Ferienhaus ,,Zur Schmiede" in Gleima ist sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Es liegen viele Flyer aus sodass man sich seine Unternehmungen planen kann . Bei Fragen stehen die Vermieter immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. In der ganzen Umgebung gibt es sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele. Wenn man sich mal nichts vornimmt , kann man sich auf dem Balkon oder im Garten mit Sonnenliegen und einem Kamin/Grill einen schönen Tag machen ."

"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."
