「The hotel runs with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. The staff are polite and very attentive while the food is to a very high standard overall. Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation.」

「Really enjoyed my stay at Glengarriff Hostel. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The self check-in was easy, and the free tea, coffee and breakfast basics were a nice bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Glengarriff and the Beara Peninsula, and the host was always quick to help if I had any questions. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone backpacking around Ireland.」

「Need air conditioners! I do understand it is Ireland and it’s not usually this hot , but with climate changing, it was very uncomfortable in the room in at night. Windows were open street noise was very loud. Everything else was fantastic, but it was way too hot, and I’m from Florida where it is always hot.」

「My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away 」
