"This hostel was a fun place to stay while visiting Chur. They’ve done an excellent job renovating the old prison and everything is very new. It was a quirky stay. The rooms are pretty small, but that’s to be expected, they used to be jail cells. "

"We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"Just what I was hoping for as a first youth hostel experience for my grandsons. Quirky, clean, fellowship and fun! Sheets are included in the price, but towels are extra. We recommend the Turkish style restaurant nearby for dinner...Sara's Bistro. The Breakfast buffet at the hostel was plentiful. Would go back again."

"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. "Unser Aufenthalt war gigantisch. Das Haus liegt ganz ruhig, toll zum Ausspannen. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die ganze Familie war von den supertollen Matratzen begeistert. Dazu kam dass noch, dass wir klasse Wetter hatten. Das Wochenende war ein voller Genuss für die ganze Familie."
