The room was immaculate and the en-suite, which seemed to have just been renovated. Our only real concern was the extractor from the bathroom went into the bedroom. Therefore so did all the steam etc from the bathroom.

Would definitely recommend

We were greeted by Paul on arrival who showed us up to the room. The room overlooked the cricket ground it was light and airy and decorated nicely. Little comfort items in the bathroom such as toiletries were a nice touch. It’s a great location to walk to Peasholm Park or into town and would definitely recommend Paul and the Ainsley Court Guest House.

Despite being misled by Hotels.com into believing we had booked bed and breakfast, only to find it was room only. The owner Paul was absolutely brilliant. He keeps Ainsley Court spotlessly clean, well furnished and very comfortable. He provides a well appointed dining room so you can take food and eat it in there. Now we know Paul does not do breakfast ,we would definitely stay again

It was a lovely clean hotel we enjoyed our stay and it was covid safe when we sothe owner on the stair and cleaning rooms they had mask on we have been in 13 different hotels in Scarborough and this is the one we will return to and recommend thanks for a wonderful stay

Clean, comfortable and good location guest house. I would say more suited to couples, as I had a single room and the shower and toilet were separate to my room. A bit inconvenient if you're not used to this type of accommodation, or need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. As the guest house didn't have it's own parking spaces, you need to pay for a permit and park across the road, but the cost didn't break the bank at £2 per day. Overall a good guest house, in a good location, within around a 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre and beach. I would stay here again, although would choose a double room to get an en suite.

As soon as we entered the premises we were made feel very welcome . Paul advised us on parking etc . The room and facilities were absolutely first class . This is one b&b that we will return too .
