「ロードトリップの序盤、私がまさかの足骨折。 主にホステルを予約していた為、各ホステルに色々と相談に乗ってもらいましたが、フォックスホステルが一番親切でした。 2泊したのですがスタッフのみんなに心配して頂き、レストランの方までも色々とサポートしてくれ、本当に助かりました。 施設内も日本と同じように土足禁止なので、床が清潔で快適でした。 ホステルへの道は周りに何もなく「こんな所にホステルなんてあるのか？」と思いましたが、ナビ通りに行ったら確かにありました。 私達は夏でしたが、周りに何もないのでオーロラが見れるシーズンは良く見えると思います。 主要スポット数カ所からも割と近いので、とても便利なホステルです。 次回アイスランドに行く時も必ず予約します。 今度は健康な状態で」

「Overall, this was a very nice hotel with a good location, and the breakfast was especially good. Our only confusion was about the water supply. At check-in, we were told that a pipe was broken and under repair, and a note in the room asked guests to “use water wisely.” However, we had running water throughout our stay. We understood that supplying water in such a remote location may be difficult, but clearer information would have been helpful.」

「Das Apartment war groß genug, Ausstattung großteils 70er Jahre. Herd ging eine Kochplatte nicht. Schränke waren innen klebrig, Geschirr und Besteck alt und zusammengewürfelt. Im Bad war der Wasserhahn defekt. Es besteht hier Renovierungsstau. Für 160 Euro die Nacht ist der Standard leider nicht ausreichend」
