This 17th-century, detached, thatched cottage has been superbly restored and offers families and groups of friends a unique experience, with the added benefit of the barn annexe with sleeping and en-suite facilities, and a private living room area. You will find original features throughout, blended with contemporary conveniences and the cosy, traditional living room at its heart including a fantastic inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove.

The heritage and history of the building, thought to be the oldest in the village of Sternfield, make Thatched Cottage the quintessential heritage cottage equipped with modern facilities. Its proximity to Aldeburgh and the Suffolk Heritage Coast lends itself to both summer and winter breaks with bracing coastal and country walks in the cooler months and the bustling coast in summer.
