"Our family with a mix of Canadians and Ticos had the BEST time at Casa Cielo Rojo. House and property are gorgeous and Matt was an outstanding host!! Beautiful tropical landscaping and views of both mountains and ocean (at a distance) were highlights… stars were incredible at night!! House and casita are beautifully decorated and made the perfect location for our family meals… Location was super convenient to explore many beaches - with a little bit of a drive. "OK hotel near the beach, rooms near the pool are a bit small (bed is almost against the wall on one side and there's no bedside table or lamp on the other side, as there's no space), but overall a good option for staying in Uvita. Breakfast is an extra 5000 colones and has 3 options: granola with yogurt & fruit (they call is muesli but it's granola), Costa Rican (gallo pinto with eggs), and American style (eggs, bacon & toast)"

"Staff is incredible and this is a gorgeous hotel. I appreciate how accommodating everyone is here from the front desk, the shuttle drivers, the housekeepers, restaurant staff, etc. We had a Jungle view split with a great look at the ocean and never missed a sunset. This easily stood out as the nicest hotel in the area, and you'll also see so much wildlife from your room and as you walk around the property. 1,000,000/10 experience"
