Our stay at La Mariposa Hotel in Manuel Antonio was phenomenal and, so far, our favourite stay in Costa Rica! The views throughout the property were incredible, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options for everyone in the family. We were lucky enough to see the resident sloth a couple of times, and squirrel monkeys also passed by during our stay. These wildlife encounters made the experience even more special. Between the beautiful views, excellent service, great breakfast, lovely pools, and wildlife, La Mariposa made our stay truly memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio!

The room was large, clean, and very nice. The view was absolutely spectacular! There were a pair of scarlet macaws that flew by our balcony at least once a day. We also saw monkeys in the trees right outside our balcony. The pool was beautiful and overlooked the Pacific Ocean. We had dinner at the restaurant twice. The food and service were top notch. It’s pricey but worth it! We loved our stay at La Mariposa, and would stay here again if back in Manuel Antonio.

Amazing location and out of this world sweeping ocean views. We had a room with 2 queen beds and great space on balcony to unwind. The breakfast was extremely yummy and staff were welcoming and helpful and very attentive. Pool was a comfortable depth and we love the fact it was open early (6am) and closed late. Would recommend to others .

The staff was very helpful at all times! We had a water emergency late night and they were quick to resolve the problem. The hotel grounds were beautiful; we were lucky to see a sloth beside the reception desk during our stay. You can’t go wrong staying at this property.
