Oceanfront Glass House on Deserted Pink Sand Beach-directly on beach!
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We have been coming to Eluethera for many years but have never stayed directly on ocean before and this house had one of the best views. It was so lovely waking up every morning and listening to the breeze and the sounds of the waves and looking out to the ocean. The beach is so private that most days there was nobody on the beach. I probably saw maybe three people on the beach for the 2 1/2 weeks that we were there. The house had all the essentials from plenty of towels to kitchen utensils/appliances. AC worked well throughout the whole house and we were really comfortable. The house had plenty of space and a large kitchen. We will visit this property again soon."
"Fabulous Oceanfront Home! From the moment we drove up the driveway, we were surrounded by lush, colorful tropical plantings. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished in island style including artwork by the owner throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor gas grill an added plus. Plenty of beach towels and lovely cotton bedding. We saw very few others on the gorgeous beach where you can snorkel the close-in reefs endlessly. Highly recommend going out to some further out to see huge brilliant and plentiful healthy coral and an abundance of tropical fish. Large grouper and lemon sharks are curious and nonthreatening. Back at the house the pool is a great refresher after an ocean swim and provides a terrific evening hang. We have been going to Eleuthera for 14 years and will definitely rent Blue Palms again!"
"It is a good size property with a low density of villas. Mine was near the pool and restaurant area, but I think they’re only three villas in a row. The beach is quite nearby is large and largely empty. It seems to be a perfect couples getaway spot. It’s also well placed near the center of the island to allow travel both north and south within an an hour and a half to two hours each way. They do a new job, maintaining the place and provide a memorable vacation venue."
"Our recent Provender House 1 week stay was excellent.
1. The drive to the house on Windemere is beautiful just to start.
2. The view from the house to the pink sand beach is stunning. Several of our party exclaimed about it when we first entered the door. You are on 5 miles of beautiful pink sand beach with a normally gentle surf - as the reef breaks the waves. During our stay I only saw two people far down the beach one day, and another day one person walked by us. Plus, it is a less than a 5-minute drive or bike ride to the other side of Windemere island where you will find a completely calm beach and “beach club” with a shaded pavilion. We saw turtles and a friendly dolphin there.
3. The house is well maintained and comfortable with a quite well-equipped kitchen. Note that they can configure the bedrooms with 2 twin beds into kings if you need different sleeping arrangements than those shown on the listing.
4. Pam (the rental agent) provided excellent information on dining and activities on Eleuthera. Pam was very responsive to all our questions and made great suggestions.
5. The Property manager Bobbette and her husband William went way beyond to resolve any issues we had, including getting a water tank truck and plumber out in short order when our tank went dry (apparently because the Eleuthera water system wasn't functioning well one day)
6. All in all, a great stay at an idyllic location!"
"A great location across the street from a gorgeous pink sand beach and Tippy’s. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a rustic chic feel to them and a well manicured set of grounds. A great place for a low-key getaway."
"Just a beautiful, tranquil place for rest and relaxation. Outstanding rooms, beds and amenities and a kind, friendly staff. Loved all 5 nights there and would definitely recommend. The beach there like so many beaches on Eleuthera is spectacular. Close to Governors Harbor and centrally located between north and south destinations on the island."
Oceanfront Home on Caribbean w/ Sunset View, Boat Ramp, Kayaks, Pool!
10/10 Excellent
"The property location is amazing and so is the view. We snorkeled right off of the dock and saw tons of fish. We took the kayaks to the little island in the cove. We enjoyed cocktails in the cabana watching the sunset. The pool was clean and has a nice deck. We took the private boat trip with James Dunham. Just tell him what you want to do on the boat and he will make it happen. We swam with and fed the sea turtles, snorkeled, spear fished, walked on a sand bar in the middle of the water, and traditional fished where we caught that night’s dinner. We went scuba diving with sharks at Cape Eleuthera. We ate at three restaurants: 1648 Bar and Grill -was excellent, Tippys- very good, and La Bouganvillea- not that good. We had a few issues on check in. We arrived at 9:00pm and did not have the info needed to get in the house. We called Pam and she answered the phone and got the info we needed. The main rooms booth upstairs and downstairs air conditioning units were not working and we had no hot water. All of the bedrooms were working fine so we slept cool. The caretaker sent an AC tech out the next morning and got both units working and the hot water on. After that, the whole house stayed nice and cool. Also, the upstairs bathroom sink had no water. Those issues aside, we will definitely come back."
