"We had a wonderful time at Taketoritei Hotel Maruyama. Shuttle service was outstanding. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Hospitality was just beyond my expectations. We highly recommend this place. "

"Right next to a bus stop, close to lots of places (walkable). The check in and out was quick, you can also leave ur luggage before or after for a bit. Overall clean. "

"I wish I had stayed more than one night—I really loved this place. The bed was slightly softer than the typical Japanese hotel, which was a welcome break for my back. The shower was excellent, and there were loads of fantastic restaurants nearby to suit all budgets. The room offered more space than most budget hotels, but still came at a budget-friendly price.
