I'll be honest, I chose The Burrand because it was the cheapest thing I could find for a one-night stay before a cruise. It is in a very convenient location and it is neat and clean, no frills. But it was an old motor lodge so the rooms, lobby and elevator are small. The doors open to the outdoors to an enclosed courtyard with parking below.

"The hotel is dated. Needs a heavy renovation. Rooms are big and beds were comfy. However its under ground parking only. My truck barley fit. I had to remove one of my radio antennas to fit. Also for the amenities. The pool house closes at 3pm Thursday to Sunday. And the hot springs is only for those ..."
