The condo is lovely and the view is amazing, however some essentials are missing, like a grill for BBQ’ing, and a blender for frozen drinks. It would have been very nice to have some items for the beach like foldable chairs as well. The pool water temperature was so cold it made it unbearable to swim, which was also unfortunate. The hill was formidable and getting up and down was very tough. We actually blew a tire on our rental given all the construction materials and debris potentially falling off their vehicles. Our biggest complaint was the construction noise next door. They are building a new complex and it was literally non-stop big engine brakes and vehicles, cement trucks, crane, beeping, yelling, and loud noise all the day. Some days it went on through the night with deliveries at 1am, 2am, 3am and then the whole crew would show up at 5am to start their day. Of our 2 weeks, we had about 3 days of reprieve. With single pane glass we could not sleep. Exhausting and depressing making it impossible to relax outdoors. We would very much have appreciated knowing there was construction going on next door to make an informed decision about choosing this location for a restful holiday. There is no way the construction just started given the progress of the footings so it was definitely something the owners and property manager would have known. Our property manager Daniel (who was awesome to work with) said we should get some refund back. We are still waiting for that.
