***update*** The condo was updated on 5/5/24. This condo is at the Tortuga Inn which is the perfect beach-to-bay resort on Florida's unspoiled Ann Maria Island. Plus a private white sand beach just across the street with two heated pools. A private pergola with amazing ocean views and water craft rentals. Beach chairs are included at no extra charge. Restaurants and cafes within a short walk. Manatees are known to habitat the bay area during certain times of year, dolphins and other wildlife are also regular visitors within the bay and ocean. Parking is included at no extra charge. Restaurants, shops, grocery stores, boat and other water activity rentals are within a short walk or drive but not on property. There is a free island trolly that can take you around the island.

Within the condo: the studio portion; a queen bed with a pullout couch, sleeps 4 comfortably. There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine and plenty of closet space. A large bathroom, walk in shower with dual shower heads. Basic cable and free wifi included.

For an additional charge of $40 per day I do have a boat slip. Please enquire if you are looking to rent or bring your own boat or jet skis.

Overall great stay. It is exactly what is says studio. The entrance is a sliding door that is a little different. Modern and updated. Right across the street from the beach!! That makes it a winner

We loved everything about this lovely place!! We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is awesome, with the beach right across the street! The host Will was wonderful at communicating with us regarding the check in procedure etc. It's a wonderful place to stay! Also, the trolley stops right out front, and we took it from one end of the island to the other shopping. Awesome place with beautiful grounds and pools!

Cutest little studio. Clean and the bed was comfortable. Quiet little place. Elevator had some issues but it was a short 2 flights, not bad at all. I will definitely keep this on my list for 2 people next time!

“Resort” not so much

Understanding the unfortunate devastation from two hurricanes that occurred last year and needing time to rebuild, the “resort” was more like a dated motel. The elevator did not work so having to go up and down 40 steps each time we came and left became exhausting. (Also seen by other tenants) The AC unit is not powerful enough to cool the room below 78 degrees and does not cool the bathroom at all. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These are our personal opinions and experience so others may feel differently. The positive was the location which is directly across from the beach with access points. Bradenton beach seemed to be the cleanest beach on the island. Parking was convenient at Tortuga as well.

Accuracy in description

The property is wonderful, the pools very clean and well maintained. Love the ease of the beach access and the fact that once you arrive you don’t need to get in your car again until you check out. Was a bit disappointed in the fact that the unit we were in was definitely not renovated 4 months ago, ceiling vents not cleaned in a very long time and A/C was a portable unit that lacked efficiency if we didn’t keep checking it.

Good value for the location

It’s a studio! Clean and good enough for a short stay like a weekend. The location is very central and close to the beach (across the property street), with close access to restaurants and stores, including some beachfront and/or Bayfront. The only thing it’s that there is zero view, since there are no windows for views and the sliding glass door both just face the hallway of the condo. This is a room locked out from a bigger condo unit. For the price during Labor Day Weekend, and its location…it’s “good enough!”

Flexible cancellation policy appreciated. Warm welcome from host. Great communication on check-in. Made a dream affordable for me. Pool facilities superb as well as ease of beach access. Trolley stops right there. Had to arrive early and could use beach and pool and he explained how to figure out parking situation. Want to come back at least once next year!! Safe and secure.

Exactly as advertised

We loved the location of this unit. Very close to some of our favorite spots (Kokonut Hut, Wicked Cantina, and Bridge street)! I did have a "moment" with the elevator where it was stuck between floors. Once it finally opened, we never rode it again. And the unit was not very cool, the cooler/dehumidifier put off more heat than it actually cooled the room. Since the weather was cool, it wasnt a big deal for us to just use the fans provided. I also wished there was a shower caddy, the shower was awesome, but there was no where to place your shower essentials. I"d definitely stay again! Only suggestions

With some repair and maintenance, this would be a gem

The actual surfaces: bedding, floors, shower, toilet: were actually very clean. The walls looked as if a small child or animal had literally climbed the walls. Ceiling fan and fire sprinkler head, dusty and dingy. Only one shower head worked, as others have said, sink faucet with very low pressure. The one and only entrance is a sliding glass door with metal lock, secondary interior safety lock did not function. Curtains and bed frame of daybed were filthy and soiled. Again, linens and pillows and touch surfaces were clean, so it worked. It felt like a clean-dirty if that makes sense. The shampoos and soaps smelled amazing and felt of high quality. There was a green substance in the ice cube trays, looks like leftover attempt to make Jell-O shots maybe? Slightly concerning they were present on my arrival. No coffee provided, and not advised until check in time. Property is immaculate and safe. Beach entry and amenities like pools were stellar. I messaged my feedback to owner who expressed appreciation and commented that they are currently looking to get the whole unit redone. I would stay again, but with more realistic expectations of the space. I beached it virtually the whole time, and only showered and slept with a total of 8 hours in the unit on my overnight stay.

Small but good place to stay

Overall it was a nice place. The bed was very firm which we don’t like. Communications with the host was not very good. Great location to walk to the beach.
