This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were extremely spacious and modern. Located just a couple of blocks from the Susukino district, the location is ideal for people who want to be right in the middle of the action. Tons of restaurants and bars are nearby and absolutely walkable. The hotel is also right next to the Sapporo TV Tower, an iconic landmark of the city, and is incredible at night.
The rooms are obviously clean (we're in Japan). The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and spoke perfect English. The rooms were large, and the bed was very big. The hotel looked brand new, and the interior design was modern and stunning.
Side note: The coffee in the lounge/buffet area was incredibly good.
I will definitely be coming back.
Worst Hyatt Experience Ever – Far From 5-Star Service!
Absolutely shocking service at Hyatt Centric Sapporo. During checkout, a staff member stood at a distance watching a pregnant woman struggle with multiple suitcases without offering any assistance. No luggage service, no bell staff, and poor English communication. The complete lack of care and basic hospitality was unacceptable. Calling this a 5-star hotel is an absolute joke. Easily the worst Hyatt experience I’ve ever had!
